Hi Moms!

Does anyone know any reputable sites or stores that have unique, quality costumes for toddlers. I've purchased costumes from One Step Ahead in hte past and have really been pleased with the quality of their products, but I didn't find a costume that really caught my eye this year. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

I have bought costumes online for both myself and my son for the past several years. www.buycostumes.com has always beem favorite (they are located in New Berlin WI so even the (usually free) economy shipping is pretty fast)

halloween shops are springing up all over the place... I was in Arlington Hts over the weekend and saw a huge one at Golf & Arlington Hts Rds. A co worker of mine found a really cool handmade costume on ebay last year - the kind thats so well made the child can wear it repeatedly without it wearing out.

Old Navy has some great costumes and they are 25% off right now I think. I just bought a really cute monkey one for my daughter for $16 and it's really warm and cute. I had good luck at Children's Place last year but didn't look this year.

There's a "Spirit Halloween" store opened up in the old Lazy Boy Gallery store on rte 30 in Joliet -- right across the street from the Louis Joliet Mall, behind the Barnes & Noble. They have a ton of costumes for babies & toddlers -- a lot of them are the same ones I've seen online at Costume Express, One Step Ahead, etc. I would second some else's suggestion to try Old Navy -- my 2 year old will be wearing the same monkey costume someone else said their daughter is wearing. He saw the costume and insisted on having it. I was thrilled to get something he loves for less than $20! My last suggestion is babystyle.com They have great baby/toddler costumes that look homemade. Well, not homemade by me but homemade by someone with skill.
