Halloween Costumes--Toddler Girl

Last year we dressed our then 7 month old as Princess Leia and our dog as Yoda. It was absolutely adorable. Ideally, I would love to have my dog (male) and my daughter as a couple, but the only thing I can thing of is angel/devil and prisoner/cop. I'm looking for something more Pop culture or iconic that is age appropriate. If we can't do a dog/daughter combo, any ideas on something for my daughter? My husband suggested Wonder Woman, and we may do that, but I wanted to see if you creative moms have any ideas. Also, I'm not crafty, so my ability to make a costume goes no further than a stick person and that just involves a black sweatsuit and duct tape.

The first thing that comes to mind is Princess Tianna and the lighting bug(I can't remember his name!), or both the frogs in the movie! Let us know what you decide!!

Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. That could actually work either way. I think it would be super cute to have your daughter as Peter Pan and your dog as Tinkerbell. = )

Check out www.chasing-fireflies.com. I've bought my daughters' costumes there since they were little. They have a hysterical dog pirate costume - could be fun to have your daughter be a pirate too! Arrrgh!

I have a custom hand-made toddler parrot costume if you want to go with the pirate dog idea. Just give me a shout and I will shoot you a photo.

Dora and Swiper the fox
Kai Lan and Toli
Spongebob and Patrick
Mario Brother and the Princess
Princess and her noble steed
Snow white and a dwarf
They could both be ghosts on the cheap

If u aren't crafty, u should find a dog costume 1st, as I assume they are more limited. Then if u find the perfect Batman costume for the dog, it would be easy to find a wonder woman costume for the girl. If u only find a good wolf costume, then you know to get a red cape and go red riding hood for the girl.
