I have a daughter who will be 2 in Nov.. The problem is we're starting to spend too much time together and get too attached. I am looking to see if anyone knows of a place that I can send my daughter like 3 days a week from 9am-1pm that isn't really expensive. I want her to be with other kids interacting. If anyone can help me out with this that would be great... =) Thanks

What can I do next?

Church daycares are the best for this situation. Most have 3 days a week or 1 day a week drop off. We have some great ones in Brandon. Also Tiny Tots is FREE from the parks and recreation. It's only a few days a week for a few hours but it might be something to consider. Good luck!

Most daycare centers dont charge by the hour, if you are looking for that kind of care you should try looking into a home daycare. They are usually a little cheaper and will try and work with your needs. Good luck!

I don't know of a really, really cheap daycare off-hand... I just wanted to warn you to be careful... "you get what you pay for". Try the R'Club daycares...

Personally, I don't see how a mom and toddler could be "too attached". I'm 39 yrs old and mom of 3 and have a home daycare. I LIVE to be with my kids. I guess cuz I had kids later in life than I had expected to.

If you join the yahoo group called StPeteWorkingMoms they are always setting up playdates in Pinellas County.

Good luck!!

Hello N., check out this great new school, you will LOVE it. They have free registration (saving $200) during September. If possible, please let them know I have told you about them.
