OK, this is kind of personal question but I need to ask. It's summer and I hate all the shaving and waxing, the sore skin and cutes. So, I really would like to try permanent hair removal. Has anyone had it done, does it hurt, where do you go near Ramstein?

Hello M.,
I discoved a product that you can use in the privacy of your own home. This product does not remove hair permanently but its the best stuff i have found for bikini waxing and it leaves the area smooth with no bumps or sore skin. You can purchase this item at your PX. Its called "MAGIC" there are different formulas and I use the SKIN CONDITIONING SHAVING POWDER WITH ALOE AND VITAMIN E. Silver and green label. You will find it in the mens shaving section. I have very sensative skin and this works for me. I hope this can help you until you do find someone who can help with the permanent hair removal. Good Luck, R.

I worked in a medical spa in Georgia where I treated patients using laser hair removal. I have also personally had laser hair removal. I LOVE it. I need more treatments but we PCS'd to Korea so I'm going to wait til I get back to the states to finish. It takes at least 6 to 8 treatments over the course of a year, maybe more, maybe less. Everyone has different hair and rate of growth. I would do some research on any place you decide to go. Ask for referrals...a reputable spa or medical office should have no problems giving this to you. This is not a quick fix for the summer coming up but you could be hair free next year!

Hi M.,

I had laser tretment done to remove hair. It is very pricy, doesn't hurt that much cause the procedure is quite fast. But you need to do it 6-8 times. And you can't do it in the summer or if you do you can not have any exposue to sun while you are doing it , so the best time is in the winter. I did it with the Sheer Light Laser. Here in Germany mostly Dermatologist do it or Gynacoogist. You may want to google Laser Hair removal in your area.
The removal will be permanent afterwards, again it is pricey.

I just did bikini and underarms cause legs would have been too much money.

Hope this helps!
