I was just wondering what people use for an inexpensive anti-frizz
hair product. I have naturally wavy hair and can't find anything that works well. Thanks!

I'm a hairstylist in Houston and the best thing for around here, land of frizz and high humidity is Moroccan Oil products (pretty expensive).. but very concentrated so you don't need much.

One good thing that isn't *too* high priced is Sebastion's Potion 9. It comes in a spray and in creams. The cream is going to have more power for thicker, coarser hair and the spray is best for finer hair.

I don' t have frizz but my hair stays smooth and silky with no fly aways if I use John Freida's full repair. After the shower I use "It's a 10" leave in conditioner. The stuff is AWESOME. It is expensive but the larger bottle will last me 5 months. I use it every day and every other day on our daughter (totally helps with tangles). You might spend 30ish depending on the store. I get it from my hair stylist for 23.

I use John Frieda's frizz ease. It runs about $6.50, but I stock up when it goes on sale or I have coupons.

I buy a bottle of Aphogee Gloss Therapy. I put it in my hair when it's damp and then add a little mousse to it to keep it tame. The Gloss Therapy has stuff in it to make the hair really shiny and it coats it too. That way the frizz is just less.

I get it at Sally's.

I feel your pain!!! I've been fighting the frizz my whole life - I'm using Garnier Fructis products right now and they work pretty well. The other thing I've noticed is if I spray it with Dove Heat Defense Therapy spray before I use hot rollers or a straightener, that dramatically cuts down on the frizz. I've been amazed that I can actually be in humidity and it still stays frizz-free!!

Good luck!!!

Of course your mileage may vary, but we use Dove conditioners for dry hair (whichever is on sale, but always the ones for dry hair). I have wavy hair and my DD has ringlets. I also air dry and avoid irons of any type.

I actually use leave-in conditioner instead of finishing products. I like the Giovanni brand. It retails for about $7.00 and often has an instead $1 off coupon attached.
