Gymboree or MyGym

We love Gymboree.

My Gym is more gymnastics/activity centered, where they have stuff for kids to climb, walk, etc on. My daughter didn't like the lack of variety they had there.

Gymboree has more variety -- songs, free play, bubble time, parachute time, creative play, as well as things to climb and jump on. The teacher is awesome - at the Old Orchard Location in Skokie. Her name is Becky.

Take a free class at each location. A lot depends on the chemistry of the parents. I went to Gymboree with every intention of signing up but after I took the class, although I was impressed with the teacher, I was put off by the parent/child interaction. I'll probably check out another location/time myself.

hello Nicole i know this is not evne on your list but i bring my son to the buffalo grove gymnastics school.... yes its a gymnastic school but at their age its more just playing running around and having fuN! my son is a month younger their your kids and he LOVES it! we are in a class that is every saturday but sad to say the class maybe full... but im sure hey do other days besides saturdays!

We have been going to the Little Gym for about two years and my kids love it. My only experience with Gymboree was a trial class that we did not like it. The Little Gym has been great for us. Currently in my son's class there are 18 months old triplets so I know siblings are welcome. Good luck choosing something.

My daughter loves My Gym! She is 17 months old. I recommend trying a session for free. You can call My Gym to schedule your free class. We did that with my daughter to make sure she'd like it. The teachers are great and the activities are different weekly. The whole family looks forward to class weekly.

My 2 year old has been going to my-gym since she was 15-months and loves it. Teachers are great (Fox Valley). I looked into Gymboree and I think my-gym was cheaper and offered more.
