I went to one gymboree class- they let you attend one for free so you can go to one and try it out.

I thought the class was fine- I went with my 12 month. But the class is very expensive for kid lessons. I think the classes are $16 each. So I found cheaper classes for my child.. The library story time is free. I found several school districts offer "play with me" programs. you toddler plays in a preschool room.. I dont know where you live but Lamphere schools, utica school, warren con, and centerline all have play with me programs.

Hi S. -

I currently do the "gym" class at Gymboree and love it! It is a great place for the kids to be where they can't hurt anything and you don't constantly have to redirect from things they can't play with! My son is only 9 1/2 months, but it has really helped with his stranger anxiety and I like the idea of getting him around other kids (since he is our 1st).

It is a little pricey, in my mind. But a lot of fun!

Hi S.,
If you saw my earlier post, than you know that before I started working for Gymboree, I both my children attended. So I am obviously a big supporter of their program! ;) Gymboree is about encouraging your child's development and to help you understand in a social setting. It's educational fun! If you would like more info, let me know and I would be happy to get that to you. Thanks and have a great day!

Hi S.~

My son played at Gymboree for almost 3 years. We took advantage of all the different classes (gym, art, music) and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the classes were very age appropriate (I have my degree in early childhood) and most of the instructors were amazing. It is an expensive activity BUT I thought the time we spent there together was invaluable. Plus, finding quality activities that enroll children under 3 are hard to find I think.

Good luck :) K.

Hi.. Yes, I had my daughter in it for almost 2 years.. She LOVED it! She is 3 1/2 now and the class that is for her age starts to late for her since she gets up at 5am for daycare (doesn't start til 7:10 pm), so we're not doing it anymore.. Instead I have her in ballet and tap. She still talks about it all the time. Last Christmas I bought her the BIG Gymbo doll and I swear she didn't care about ANYTHING else I bought her, just that darn doll.. haha.. It was funny.
We had her in the regular GYM class, I didn't really think the music & art classes looked as fun, they do those off in a side room and don't get the Gymbo dancing and all that, which is what my daughter loved. We went to the one in Riverview.. Miss Amy is great. Buy the bubbles, they're soo cool.. Never seen bubbles last this long (like flying around,etc),haha.. Good Luck, have fun. (:
