We usually use VRBO to find our lodging. If we are staying somewhere for more than 3 days, we like a condo or house and this site is great with lots of different options and price ranges. Hope that helps! Enjoy your vacation!
We used VRBO and stayed in Fort Morgan at Morgantown. An absolutely beautiful family place! Very reasonable, had two pools in the neighborhood, no traffic. Close to the museum, the ferry, Gulf Shores. The greatest thing was being able to take our two small dogs. It's the only place that allows pets on the beaches. They have strict pet laws, so beaches are kept clean.
Orange Beach is beautiful! You can probably find condos there through vrbo.com and there are some nice hotels as well.
