Is there any grocery stores near by? I am moving there and would appreciate any tips on living in this area.

I live west of the city limits of Haslet, but I still drive into Fort Worth (Beach & Western Center- Albertson's & Kroger, or Beach & North Tarrant - Walmart). I hate going to the Walmart in Saginaw, it is always super crowded, even late at night!.

There is an Albertsons and a Wal-Mart in Roanoke on 114 at 377, and the same stores in Saginaw on Business 287 at Bailey Boswell. There is IGA and Wal-Mart in Decatur, both on 287. There is an IGA in Boyd on 114. There's a grocery store in Justin on 407 that was an IGA, but I don't know what it is now. There are also multiple grocery stores in Keller. Most of the grocery stores in Keller are at 1709 (Keller Pkwy) and Rufe Snow). I don't know which end of Haslet you are moving to, so it is difficult to tell which may be closest. Because I live in the northwest side of Haslet, I usually drive to Decatur or Saginaw. I hope this helps.

I live in Haslet in the Ashmore Farms Subdivision and I always go to the Albertson's on Golden Triangle at Beach St. It takes me about 10 minutes to get there. It is closer than the one on Beach and Western Center and is not crowded. There is also a Wal Mart at Beach and N. Tarrant Parkway. For quick items, I find the Dollar General very convenient.

Do you know what community in Haslet? I live right off of highway 287, and as the other post mentioned, I go to the Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, off of Western Center/beach street in North Fort Worth. Takes maybe 15 minutes to get there. The saginaw walmart and albertsons are crowded all the time! If you are living off of 156, you could take back roads to get to Golden Triangle and there is an Albertsons there. For milk and bread and quick items, there is a Dollar General and small gas station that will help. Otherwise, plan on 15 minutes to a big store. As the other post mentioned, which direction you decide to go really depends on where in Haslet you are living.
