Green Marker mayhem...on Skin

What happens when you leave your daughter coloring and go to the restroom? She covers herself in green marker! And I mean COVER. I thought I had thrown away all of the markers, guess I missed one. It's a dry erase marker, meant for her magna doodle drawing board. Any one have any ideas on how to get this off her? Regular bath lightened it up quite a bit, I am just stuck with a green stripped monster for a few days?

What can I do next?

Rubbing alcohol removes ink. It is very drying, but if you use a little bit on a cotton ball and then make sure to follow up with moisturizer, you should be good. I also have had success using hair mousse or hairspray (because it has alcohol in it), although it is not as concentrated as regular rubbing alcohol. You could put kiddo in the bath without water , make her lather up in mousse, rinse it off, should get at least the majority of it off.

The problem is that the skin absorbs the dye and that takes time. I know cold cream helped get makeup off like clown makeup or halloween kind. You might want to try that. Otherwise take pics and laugh it up. My youngest was a pink kid for a bit recently. I just told everyone she is an serious artist. I think some lotion helped too with it not being so dark.

Last summer a little girl that my daughter took swim lessons w/ showed up at the pool with head to toe permanent marker on her skin. After swimming for 20 minutes, the marker had vanished!

Rubbing alcohol will take sharpie marker off of skin. I imagine it would work the same for a dry erase marker.
