I am looking for goodie bags for my Son's 1st birthday! His theme is airplanes and wanted to do some kind of luggage, breifcase etc. Any good ideas or have you seen any on websites! I have looked all over!

Thanks,

What can I do next?

Oriental Trading Company has that kind of stuff. They have lots and lots of stuff for birthday parties and they have great prices too!! I think I have seen airplane type of things. www.orientaltrading.com

I would make goody bags like the things you get when you board an airplane, ie small snack bags of pretzels, small jugs of juice, a small coloring book about planes, and a small pack of crayons. If you call an airline, you might be able to get some of those neat little wings and/or little airplanes that they give kids when they fly. If there are older kids there, you can put travel games in their goody bags. You could put them all in a small packback "carry-on". If you don't want to spend a lot of money, you could find a pattern and sew a bunch of small packpacks using airplane material.
If you have a rolling cart, you could tape some cardboard on the sides and front and design them with airplanes and then deliver the cake on the cart.

So fun! Good luck!

Not sure how many people you will have, but if it's small you may want to check out etsy.com. I recently threw a 2 year birthday party and got crayon rolls for the guests. My other option was going to be goodie bags with car shaped crayons in them, which could also be purchased on etsy.

I have bought plain kraft paper bags at Target and put a few cute 3-D stickers on them--very cute.

Maybe you could go to a school supply store and see if if you can find little plastic suitcases or even an airplane container that will hold something. You might be able to find clear plastic sacks w/the "travel" design at this type of store or craft stores as well. Maybe you could make an airplane hat that everyone could wear or have them make their own. That should get a one year old smiling...

My sister-in-law made her own precious goodie bags for her construction themed bday party by buying fabric with construction vehicles and tying up the goodies with twine. I bet you could find some fabric with a travel theme online, cut large squares, etc. If you can sew, you could easily sew up the fabric to make a little keepsake pouch.

I found two great party idea sites the other night (was up til 1:00 AM looking!). They are

www.catchmyparty.com and www.livinglocurto.com

Super cute ideas! I'm sure there is a section for plane parties on the Catch my Party site.
