We are looking for a good place to get a decent price on carpet. I don't want the cheapest carpet, but good carpet for a fair price.

What can I do next?

When we were building our house we looked EVERYWHERE! We ended up at Throughbred Carpets in Savage off of hwy 13. My husband is a Real Estate Broker and has sold new donstruction, so he knows his prices and that is where we ended up! Good luck!

We purchased a home and had to replace all of the carpet. We bought it at Lowe's. We looked at a more expensive brand and the salesperson showed us something much more reasonable in a good quality. It's been in since last June and is holding up well. I believe it's the Lowe's brand, but it has another name - look on their endcaps for displays. It's made from recycled material, but is incredibly soft. Comes in many styles and colors.

Carpet City in Hopkins has really nice carpets, selection, prices, etc. They are a family owned company of 40+ years. ###-###-####

The owner is Bev Zahler, she is very nice!

There is a set of twins who are the nicest & best carpet layers...make sure to request Dan & Don Kalal.

We just finished a home construction project where we had over 2000 square feet of carpet installed. We looked EVERYWHERE for the best deal: price, quality, customer service. We finally came upon a contractor that met every need we had: Jon Hoadley - Stone Tree LLC - ###-###-#### or ____@____.com will put you in contact with a distributor where you can go to pick out and research your carpet wants. He will then put together a price estimate with installation (he has a GREAT installer too). After a lot of looking around, Jon was able to get us a better price and a higher quality carpet (not to mention EXCELLENT customer service) than any of the local retailers.

Good luck,
M. K
