My 19 month old son breaks out behind his legs and on his inner arms and seems to flare more the days I apply sunblock. Any suggestions out there for sensitive skin sunblocks, his daycare requires we put it on everyday.

No-Ad's baby sunscreen is worth a try. It is inexpensive and is one of the few that doesn't make my children cry if they accidentally rub it in their eyes.
I have the same problem! I use Avon's sunscreen/bug repelent with my Daughter. It's blue so I know I get complete coverage which makes me really happy.
I just realized after going to the Allergist that if I used tribiotic cream for the cuts, hydrocortozone cream for the flair ups and covered with Ecucerin cream nightly after her bath I seem to be helping her Excema. Per the MD she needs to stay moist. Even a pool help according to the MD! She loves that idea.
She also takes liquid Zyrtec nightly too with helps all of her Allergies, and the Ezcema seems to be under control

Arbonne products work fantastic. No issues with my sons sensitive skin since birth once i switched to this product for his baths, body lotion and sunblock. Pricey but worth it.
We have two kids with terrible ezcema in the same spotts as your son. Its a year round issue we have delt with for for the past ten years. We use all neutrogena products. I really like the Pure & Free™ Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60.
The only sunscreen that will work on my son's sensitive face and arms is Neutrogena Sensitive Skin. I lined up all of the mild baby ones that I was trying on him and the only common thing with all of them was the waterproofing. He has no reaction with the Neutrogena that is not waterproof. I just apply it about 1/2 hr before he goes in the water and he is good! Good luck.
My friend Amy had terrible eczema for many years and her son has it also. They got rid of the problem by switching nutritional supplements and now they can use any sunscreen they want. It might be easier and more satisfying for you than spending years trying out products (sunscreens, soaps, lotions) to see what does and doesn't irritate the skin. It would be a lot cheaper too! We started using the Neutrogena SPF 60 for Sensitive skin, for kids, it's not the cheapest and I think it goes quickly but it works. :) Good luck.

My friend Ramsey has ezcema and had a terrible reaction to sunblock. It caused a flair up over 90% of his body.
He takes a nutritional supplement and it has relieved him of all but two small spots on his entire body.
Safe and effective for all ages. I can get you in touch with him for which kind of sunblock he does use now, also.

Ezcema is tough! My son has these bumpies all over him. I am not sure if it is ezcema or not. I use these all natural products, they work awesome!! They do not have any chemicals in them so they do not irritate his skin. The lotion is called Renew! They also have son-block and they are less expensive than most products. Using different bath products and detergents help with sensitive skin. Contact me for more info.

We went through this last summer and my son's dermatologist recommended Neutrogena sensitive you don't have to get the baby sunscreen he said the most important thing is to get one that says sensitive skin and anything over 30 spf is fine there really isn't much difference in protection once you get over 30 spf.
My two youngest have a sunscreen allergy and we have a very hard time finding anything that works for them. Blue lizard is good. Basically we only use sunscreens that are zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide they are a pain in the butt to find though. Sadly just because they say hypoallergenic doesn't mean that they really are for every one it actually just means paba free.

My daughter has ezcema and I use Coppertone for kids. They have a version that is dye and fragrance free. So far, she hasn't had any breakouts with it. Due to her ezcema, I have also switched to dye and fragrance free laundry detergent and bug spray which has helped tremendously and might be something for you to consider trying as well.
