Good Place to Buy School Uniforms

I'm actually not interested in the cheapest place. I want decent fabrics that wear well and don't fade in the wash. Colors: Red, navy, white, tan.

What can I do next?

Children's Place and Land's End have held up the best for my son. Old Navy has great prices on pants but they fade, shrink and rip at the knee easily. Their polos hold up okay, though. Target is okay for polos also, but the pants fit funny on my tall, skinny kid.

French Toast is the place! I ordered from them and the shirts came quickly, including a coupon for 20% off our next order.
The shirts launder well and hold up to active days.

I was SO happy with Frenchtoast.com. I laughed when another mom told me about this company because the name was so funny. But their clothes stood up to my kids' wear and tear. Some of the smaller sizes even have double knees to help with very active little boys!

Google it and look for store locations. Find something close by, go down there and try them on your kids. Note the sizes and the names of the styles. If it's the right color, you can buy it there. If not, order it online.

I did this for 6 years. It was WONDERFUL!

We used to get ours at Target and JC Penney. One of the brands was French Toast - they were really well constructed and reasonably priced.

Also, something you might try to start at your school is a uniform exchange! Our school did this and it was great - especially for the girls' dress uniform. Boys pants didn't always make it to the exchange but it's great to trade around the shirts, shorts, blouses, etc. It seems they outgrow everything as soon as you turn around and it can get quite costly!

Good luck!!
