Good Music c.d. for the Car?

Can anyone suggest a good musical c.d. for the car? My son is about 4 months old and absolutely hates riding in his car seat. I am always trying to come up with things to make the rides more bearable, as he screams every day on the ride home from daycare. I already have the "Happiest Baby on the Block" c.d. and it doesn't work with him anymore. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

What can I do next?

I always sing to my children in the car. It feels a little funny when they are so young, but the more you sing the more he will be lulled by your voice. I used to sing, "If you're happy and you know it" to my daughter every time she started to cry in the car and she always stopped. I mean always!

I also have a sample cd from the music program, "Music Together" and my children love that one. It actually has a song on it about riding in the car and they make silly noises in the song. It is really fun and worth the money.

Laurie Berkner is WONDERFUL. You can find them at Barnes and Noble. Very fun songs and NOT annoying.

I love the Wee Sing collection. I had it on tapes when I was little and now I have it on CDs for my kids. It's a collection of nursery rhymes and silly songs.

My little boy loves Baby Einstein, especially in the car. I think because I play it when we're playing together inside and so it's a little comforting when he can't see or play with me. I think it's the "Play Date" c.d. or something like that. We also listen to a lot of Christian music so he loves all of the Praise Baby c.d.'s and a c.d. called "Sing Over Me". To fall asleep at naptime he used to really like Nora Jones. It's very soothing.

I would always play either the Baby Einstein CD's or turn on the jazz station; it worked to quiet my son all the time. He could be screaming/crying and the jazz station worked like a charm. Hope it helps. :)
