Just an FYI: We've used Wells Fargo (I have a good contact there if you decide you want to try it again) for 3 mortgages now and we've never had an issue. Aside from being the biggest expense we have every month, I never think about our mortgage. My friend ended up using a mortgage company because of her builder and has had nothing but trouble with them. Also, it doesn't hurt your credit to have a few places pull it if they're all pulling for the same reason, so check with several places.
