Hi! I'm in need of suggestions for a facial skin care line to use in your late 30's. I just had a baby and along with the winter weather my skin is dry and I can see the wrinkles rearing their ugly head! I used to use Mary Kay for the longest (since teen years) and loved it but thought I needed a change about 6 years ago and just bounced around with store brands but mostly oil of olay. Now I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to make sure I age gracefully. :) I've tried the ROC night cream which I like b/c I read I should be using something with Retinol at this age. But I need a cleanser and daytime moisturizer line that will give me that "glow"! I went to an Arbonne party once and I liked how their products felt but the cost was way to much. Need something more affordable long term. I would be willing to try Mary Kay again, but wasn't sure they had anything with retinol. Or if there was any OTC products that really worked. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hello! I used to use the Arbonne antiaging products and really liked them but they were just so expensive. So I started trying new things and found a combination that I am happy with. My routine starts at night...I use the Neutragena Deep Clean face wipes ($6) then the Aveeno Clear Complextion Daily moisturizer ($7) (its called a daily moisturizer but its too thick for me to use under my pressed powder). When I wake up I use another face wipe and some Clinique Moisurizer (the yellow one, lotion not the gel) ($20) because I need something light but moisturizing under my powder (Clinique superpowder double face powder). Thats it. Well besides all the other make up (mascara, blush, eye shadow, lip gloss, sometimes undereye concealer...). So for the skin care (not make up) it usually costs me about $35 a month and my skin has never been better.

Hope this helps! :)

(P.S...Im 33y and mom of two girls with moderately dry skin in the winter)

You can try avon, too, they have some great products, and they are listed by age group (30s, 40s, etc.).

I love the Exuviance brand. You can get it online or at ulta.
What you described was me to a T - i used MK, tried ROC brand, etc. My skin was doing this strange - age and breakout thing at the same time and I went in to Ulta just to get some type of "drying" lotion. I ran into the exuviance rep and she gave me a ton of samples.
I love it. It is pricy by some standards, but it lasts forever.
I currenlty use the foaming wash (it has toner in it) and the night and day lotions for combination skin, but I use one of the specialty treatments for dry aging skin. . .
I actually like my skin. Give it a try. With Ulta they will give you a full refund on products as long as more than half is in the jar. . .
Good luck!
