Good Bakery That Does Fruitfilled Cakes

Orland Bakery at 143rd and LaGrange Road (next to Randy's Market) has delicious fruit filled cakes, but they are more expensive than bakeries located within the grocery stores.

I also have had delicious cakes from the full service bakery located within Walt's Groceries at 161st and Harlem. They do a beautiful job decorating their scrumptious treats, and they are very reasonable, and nice to deal with. Also, if you are hosting a small gathering, and you don't have time to bake, they will put together a very reasonably priced tray of fancy pastries for you.

This is my favorite bakery.

Dominicks makes an excellent cake. It's a yellow cake with strawberries or any filling you desire and ask for a whipped cream frosting. I have been ordering it for all of my childrens birthday. Check it out. It's delicious. Let me know ghow you like it!!!!!!!!!!

Try Creative Cakes in Tinley Park. It's around 166th and Oak Park Avenue. Got my b-day cake from there in March - fresh strawberry filled buttercream and it was delicious. They also do whipped cream cakes (the buttercream was very light - loved it). I got the 8 inch and with all the decorations and trimmings came to about $28.00 - that'll serve up to 10. It was fabulous!

I'm not exactly sure where Oak Forest is but if that's close to Lansing or River Oaks mall, there is a bakery called Calumet Bakery. They accept Link too if u have it. Their # is ###-###-####

Orland Bakery is absolutely fabulous!! I get all of my cakes there. They actually have themed cakes as well and are extremely well priced. They are located in the strip mall right off of 143rd and LaGrange in Orland Park

I'm not sure what size you're looking for, and the cost varies based on that. However, I have had strawberry filled whipped cream cakes from the Jewel bakery several times now and I thought theirs were excellent.

Jewel is usually cheapest

Jewel does great strawberry, whip cream torte cakes. I think they also do other fruits too. We have gotten tortes to feed up to 100 people from them.

We love Orland Bakery. We've gotten all our cakes from there and everybody always raves about how great they are.

fleckensteins bakery on lagrange road in mokena is very good they do delicious fruit filled whipped cream cakes. we use them for our bdays. they are on lagrange just south of 191st.

Sams Club has good cakes. Fresh and good price. Good Luck

We always do Pierre's Bakery in Blue Island. They are always delicious and reasonably priced. Good luck!

I know of Pierre's Bakery on 127th in western and Calumet Bakery on like 187th Torrence. You can look them up on yahoo search to get the phone numbers. I have had cakes from both places b4 and they were great! So call them both and get a price range. The cakes are also very beautiful. You may want to go in to look to c what kind you would like.
