Every year me and my husband get to take a boys trip, girls trip. Last year my best friend and I went to San Diego, did the beach thing. This year we're not sure where we want to go. Somewhere not too expensive. I'm In Provo, Utah if you are wondering. Any of you Moms have suggestions on where might be a fun place to go?

What can I do next?

We did an Ensenada cruise that was fun. Maybe Napa? Or Palm Springs? Denver is fun too. ;)

I have done several girls trips and one of my favorites, was the Mayan Ranch in Bandera, TX!! It's basically a dude ranch, but us girls had a blast!!! We rode horses, swam/laid out by the pool, went in to town to party...it was a blast. There was a morning ride, where we rode horses up into the foothills and the guide cooked us breakfast on a rock, basically!

We also did kind of the same deal in Colorado (Loveland and Estes Park). We took in 4-wheeling and rafting!

I have to say that Napa is another favorite, but I went with family on that one(twice). It would be a fantastic girls trip!

Good luck and have fun wherever you go!!!!

Salt Lake? Brian Head resort or Wolf creek (I think that's the name of the ski resort)? I was going to say Portland Oregon which is gorgeous especially the gardens (or Greshum Oregon which is pretty) but I'm not sure what is too expensive (traveling, etc). Phoenix AZ? (I think Phoenix would be like a 9ish hr drive though).

Depending on the time of year you are talking about, Palm Springs can be a lot of fun and a really good deal. When I went there on a girls weekend several years ago, we stayed at the Givenchy Resort which is now known as the Le Parker Meridian Palm Springs. Here's the website:

It has a really nice restaurant there and also a luxury spa that you can lounge the day away at, as well as a couple of pools and French gardens. The city itself has a lot of great shopping, restaurants and a night life. I recall that hotel room prices were less expensive off-season but can't remember if off season is summer or everything but.

Good luck planning your trip.
