My baby is turning 1 very soon!! and so is moving up to the toddler room at daycare. Any suggestions for a little gift to say thanks to her infant class teachers?

What can I do next?

I love the letter idea. I have received a couple of those and it means SO much to me!

Christine's idea is really cute. You could follow that lead with any other theme - toe nail polish, file, lotion, ect. An inspirational book with a bookmark from Brighton.

Purchase a sand pail (lots to choose from this time of year). Fill it with a few drinks, microwave popcorn, some movie size candy, and a gift card to Blockbuster.

This has always been a hit with my children's teachers/care givers.

That is a GREAT idea! I'd take it a step further and put hand prints or foot prints on it from the kids. That is a super easy way to make anything super personal! Anytime I've done that its wowed anyone! Even to put it on a buck fifty greeting card makes it priceless...

If you wanted other ideas for the gift inside the basket, I'd love to help you! Care takers wash their hands ALL day long and no one has ever rejected a Satin Set. It has a hand pampering set in it as well as satin lips.

Let me know if you'd like more info. If you are providing more then one gift I can cut you a great deal! Check it out at my website! http://www.marykay.com/tchavira/spabody/bodycare/10014082...

And let me know either way! Best of luck!!!

Along with a gift, sit down and write a letter to each of them. Tell them what it meant to you to have them as your baby's first caregivers. Cite specifics. I did this w/ my son's first teachers and almost 3 years later, they still bring it up every once in awhile to me - how touching it was that I wrote my feelings out. So wow - it was a BIG lesson learned for me & one I'll never forget - get a gift, but also write a letter!!

(and ps - good luck with the moving up. Something about seeing your little baby sitting at that tiny little table in a tiny little chair like a real little person - it will just break your heart in two...I cried for weeks!)
