My MIL isn't the most gracious person when it comes to receving gifts. Which leads me to only get her gift cards.
Does anyone have any creative ideas on how to wrap gift cards?

What can I do next?

-Put it in a small box or an empty tissue box and wrap the box.
-If it's small enough, put it into an empty toilet paper roll tube, wrap it then twist the ends tying w/ribbon like a tootsie roll.
-Put in a cheap mug and wrap the mug.
- Put in a paper sack made for lunches then decorate the bag w/ink dipped stamps. Don't have any stamps you can make one out of a potato or decorate w/felt pens.

I like finding a small box it fits in, find some fun/pretty tissue paper to around the gift card in the box and then wrap the box.

Have also seen it put in a box chocolates, then warpped.

I have put them in a card and then put the card in a box and wrapped it. I have put them in small gift bags. There are stuffed animals that "hold" things. A small trinket box would also be nice and put the gift card inside.

I was standing in line at Borders Bookstore the other day, and they had such a cute assortment of pop-up cards with a little slot for a gift card. They were so darling! For instance, they had one where when you opened the card, a little sleigh and reindeer popped up - very intricate. The cards were about $5 each, but if you're only getting it for one person, that's not so bad.

put it in a little box inside tons of bigger boxes all wrapped. My grandpa always did that to us when we were kids, and I'm sure you could use a little laugh as gets to each wrapped box.

For something serious and sweet if that is more the angle you are going for, you can make a gift card tree. Paint a flower pot (or if you have little ones have them do it), fill it with good smelling coffee beans for the "dirt" and get floral picks to hold a bunch of giftcards in smaller denominations. We did this for a teacher that was retiring at my school a couple of years ago. We also wrapped pens in floral tape and taped a silk flower to the tops of the pens, that way when the gift cards were gone she still could keep the flower pot as a little pen holder.

Get her a pair of gloves and put the gift card inside on of the gloves and then wrap the gloves. When she opens them, encourage her to try the gloves on and "ta da" she will find the gift card.
Get a small box and fill it with her favorite candy. Tape the gift card to the inside lid of the box. When she opens the box she will see the gift card and her favorite candy inside.
