My fiance and I have decided we are going to go on a cruise for our honeymoon, which is now in January instead of Feb. Do any of you know the way to get the best deal for a cruise? Would you just go to the ships website to book or somewhere else? We will be departing from Galveston. I am sooo excited as it will be our honeymoon as well as my First Cruise. Thank you so much for any help you can give us.

So What Happened?

We ended up going directly to the cruise lines website and booking there. Can hardly wait to go!

we used Vacationstogo.com and had great service and a great cruise. we had a problem with our original booking and they fixed it right away, no problem, the website has different kinds of discounts for Firefighters and police if you qualify for that it will always show you when you can save, there are a few other things you can get discounts for but we didn't qualify for them but it saved us $500 per person for our inside balcony room!

have fun, we loved the Oasis of the Seas by Royal Caribbean and we did Nassua and St Thomas and St Marteen. and I can recommend a Jeweler in St Thomas if you want one! I got a 20 year anniversary ring from them.

I own an internet franchise. My company is Travelocity's biggest customer. Try going to www.coliryan.com and click travel on the right hand side. I have saved folks several hundreds of dollars.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Congrats by the way.

and check to make sure but princess was the second port and carnival is the first when we went. we wasted time parking in the wrong terminal because then the signs were confusing and the people we asked said "Yes, you can park here." Not, the next lot is way closer.

I also recommend Vacationstogo, but specifically with your timeframe look at their 90-day Ticker...these are cruises departing in the next 90 days that can be cheap cheap cheap! I think you have to be logged in to view that fyi. Have fun!!!

My aunt and uncle go on one every year. They have said that they wait until a month before they go to book it. They also go in Jan/ Feb. They said that is thier slow time of the year and as it gets closer they start to drop the prices to try to fill the ships. They have gotten some amazing deals!! One time they got it booked for over half off of the original price!

Good luck, have fun and congrats!!
