Getting Eye Lashes to Grow

As I have gotten older my eyelashes are becoming thinner and thinner. I have tried Latisse but all that did was make my eyelids discolored where I looked as though I had a serious illness. I could only use it for a couple of days so of course it didn't work. Do you know of something to make my lashes like they used to?

TIA

What can I do next?

Ground caterpillars.

It's all the little hairs they have - makes your lashes really thick. ;)

(totally kidding in case the sarcasm didn't come through) :)

I am lucky to have pretty good lashes but they are not as full as they once were.

I LOVE Dior Maximizer ($28). it is a conditioner/primer to use before you apply mascara.

I've been using it about 2 yrs or more and I have routinely been asked if I have lash extensions. I don't know how it works but I love it.

I used a primer by Clinique that was good, not as pricey, but it was more of a primer vs a combo primer/conditioner.

If I start having a lot of loss, I am going to the Lash Lounge to get extensions.

Good luck

Mary Kay has a product called eye lash serum. Works well and does not contain the ingredients that Latisse does...no discoloration and I've noticed a difference. Also, use a lash lengthening mascara with a primer. They do look fuller and longer :)

My cousin gets eyelash extensions. Think hair extensions, but on a much smaller scale for your eyes. They're very glamorous looking, but unfortunately I don't know the cost or length of duration. My aesthetician just recommended Latisse, so I'm a little wary of it now!

My mom read that a deficiency in Lutein can cause that. She started taking a supplement & grew lots of eyelashes! She had spaces along her eyelids where no eyelashes grew & you'd never know it now :)
