My baby has a lot of gas even after switching bottles and formula. Someone had a similar request recently with many responses containing gas relieving products. I have looked four times in the recent equests and I am unable to find it. Can someone please respond with a link the request I am referring to?

We went through 4 formulas and 2 types of bottles with my son for the same reason, and the problem was finally resolved with Dr. Browns bottles, Nestle's Good Start formula, and Mylicon gas drops. The Avent bottles made the problem worse. I don't know where the link is that you're looking for. Sorry.
Not sure what the link is, but a common gas-reliever is Mylicon gas drops. Just be sure you buy one that has not been recalled (I am sure they are not still on the shelves, but just to be safe). The only issue I have with it is that apparently it only relieves belly gas, not intestional. My son has bad gas as a newborn, and it didn't really help him THAT much. Still try though! Other things we did were warm compresses, holding him face down lengthwise on your forearm (applies a little pressure to their bellies and can help move the gas), and making sure to burp him REALLY well. Gripe water! Call your local health food store. Also at my grocery store they have little tummies gripe water...same thing
Rest assured that this will pass. We used Nestle Good Start Natural Cultures and the Dr. Brown bottles for the formula feeding we did. We used Milicon drops, but I don't think they helped. Some people also use Gripe Water.
By 3 months we were past the worst of it, and could switch back to the organic formula.
Try Little Tummies or Mylecon drops. Something that I did with both my girls that worked like a dream was "running" them. Lay your baby on his back and take his feet in each hand. run his legs (kind of like a bicycle motion) gently. after a minute or so, tuck his knees into his belly and press gently. This should make him toot out any gas that is bothering his belly. Good luck!
I used mylicon but i know that there are some other things out there the other moms recommended. remember to also take the legs and do them in a bicycle motion and rub the tummy counter clockwise with your hand. use the advent bottles, i think they are the best ones out there.
make sure to burp the baby well. rub his sides while he is lying on you if he gets hiccups. good luck and congratulations on your new bundle of joy.
We use Mylicon drops daily. I've actually discovered that they help her more if I give it to her before she eats rather than after her bottle (She uses Nestle Good Start Natural Cultures - her doctor recommended it). Granted I'm no doctor so I don't know if it will help every child, but I noticed that by the time she finished her bottle, she would spit out the Mylicon because she was full. That's why I started giving it to her before she ate. Also, bicycling her legs helps move it along too.
the product that works is gripe water and you an get it at a child pharmancy.

i responded to the last one, i have a son who is now 3 1/2 months old. he started with alot of gas problems, at about 4 weeks, arching his back when i was nursing and fussing. i knew it was a gas problem, cause my other son at the same problem. my doctor put him on 1ml of zantac 2 times a day, it was a huge improvement and within 2 weeks he was back to his happy little self. it does have a peppermint flavor unless you can find a pharmacy that doesnt make it that way, curtis pharmacy in washington and claysville, makes their own grape flavor and its much better. so call your doctor and see what they say. you can also try the mylicon drops as well, its just sugar water.

I used Mylicon drops for my son. It worked well. He is 4 now and I still give it to him occassionally if he has an issue with Diarrhea.
mylicon drops also little exercise while saying we pump the gas out pump pump the baby is on its back and you gently grab his legs and bend then and push to his belly helps to get it out.
