Okay, I used to be a MOM (and will continue to be), but now I am a grandma of 8 children that I love dearly. They are 4 down to 1 month. I have three that visit from KC for a week or two at a time. Moms, you know more about current activities that would help me keep them busy. We do the zoo, Butterfly House, Chuckie Cheese, but are there any places around like the old Discovery Zone (you maybe to young to remember) that are indoors. HELP. I have two now!!!

What can I do next?

I have a four and two year old and am always looking for things for them to do. We enjoy going the Missouri Botanical gardens where they have a new children's section this year. We also like going to the City Museum, Science Center, Lone Elk park for picnics and animal viewing, JB Park for long walks on bikes or wagon rides, and some of the malls now even have small indoor playgrounds that are nice. St. Louis Mills mall has a neat kids area as well as an arcade room, etc. Hope this helps!

S., two things that come to mind that I haven't seen in responses to you yet are My Gym in Ellisville (near the Chuck E. Cheese there) and The Whittle Shortline Railroad in Valley Park. They both have family night activities that might provide something new and different for you to do. I discovered both at birthday parties for my daughter's classmates (she's three), and she really enjoyed both places. My Gym's equipment is all sized for the children, and Whittle Shortline Railroad has rooms with big train tables set up that the kids just love.

Hope this helps!

I just wanted to say I worked at Discovery Zone in Town and Country till it closed I worked there all throgh High School it was a great job. I wish there was a place like it now to take my one year old to. She is fearless and is climbing up on everything. Let me know if you have found any luck.
