What types of things have you done with your 20 month old. My son is such a fun kid and love to do things. Some one mentioned the york wild animal kingdom but I don't know if he's old enough for that yet. He doesn't really like his stroller he'd rather walk so some thing can be tough to do. any suggestions would be appreciated.

What can I do next?

I think York would be a good start for him. It's very small and contained. Won't take you a long time to get through the whole park. How about story time at the library, gymboree, swimming or a mommie and me class?
Good Luck.

Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield has a great wading pool that is perfect for toddlers because at its deepest, it's only about a foot deep. There is a fountain they can run under and a small playground as well.

I am not sure where you live, but we enjoyed the Stone Zoo in Stoneham. My 20 month old daughter is also not a fan of the stroller right now and this zoo is small enough to walk. She had a blast the day we went. We also went around 3:30/4:00 and it was perfect as there was not a lot of people there (except other moms with their kids) so I felt comfortable letting her walk by herself. My daughter was free and my ticket was $8.

Southwicks Zoo is great. They just added a nice train ride and a sky ride.
Davis Farm is amazing. My kids love it there.
Coco Keys in Danvers is a great place too. It's an indoor waterpark. They have different sections for different ages. It's a lot of fun. Fun for adults too.

One of our favorite things to do is go to mccrays farm in south hadley. It's small enough not to over stimulate a 20 month old, but big enough to entertain everyone. There is a small animal farm where you can feed the different animals and you can get farm fresh ice cream. makes for a nice afternoon. we go there every couple of months and never get tired of it.

Roger Allen park off Chesnut Hill Road in Rochester is really fun. There is a sandbox, picnic table, and lots of fun wooden climbing structures. Plus it is free!

Hi E.,
There is a place called Davis' Farmland in Sterling MA. It's a great place for small and bigger kids. They have lots of animals that you can walk up to and pet and feed. They also have playgroud areas,a great water park area where the water just sprays out of different things, picnic area, pony rides, hay rides etc. I believe their website is www.davisfarmland.com.
