Hello again moms! So my shower will be in May or June and we have 2 games so far:
1.Don't say baby!
2.Guess what candy bar is in the diaper? (#2)

I know there has to be way more that you might've played at a baby shower. I'm going to try to keep the guests mostly women/moms. Just a fun afternoon of girls, laughs, and food. I am going to have nice prizes for the winners. Thanks in advance ladies!

What can I do next?

This web site has a few games that are fun to play at baby showers... http://www.babyshowercentral.com/ also, put several baby items (a diaper, diaper pins, lotion, shampoo, a onie, etc) on a tray and cover it. Remove the cover for a couple of seconds then cover it back up, have the guests write down everything that is on it, try to have 15-20 items.

At my shower, we asked every one to write down how 'big' around I was (from the biggest part) then I went around with a tape measure to see who won.

“Baby Scramble”, make a list of 10 words that relate to babies, such as crib, stroller, pacifier, bottle, etc. Then mix up each word so that it is not spelled correctly. Photocopy or use your computer and print out a copy for each guest. Once everyone is ready, explain what they have to do and give them five minutes to unscramble as many words as they can. When the five minutes is up, call out the answers. The person with the most answers right, wins.

Another game we played was 'who does the family belong to', we used TV families and the guests had to match up what kids belonged to which TV family.

One last one, hand each guest a 'bingo' and have them write down items that they think you will be getting, when it's time to open the gifts, they will be marking off what they wrote down, when someone has 5 across, up/down or diagonal, they say 'bingo'.

Hope these help.

God's Blessings to you and your little one

At my baby shower a guests played ("my water broke")
little tiny plastic babies was frozed in ice cubes, Once everyone was present, they put 1 ice cube in their drink (water, soda) No hot drinks- that's cheating) Whoever's baby broke out of the ice first says "My water Broke" & wins!
You can have mulitple winners of this game.

Guessing game- put jelly beans, M & M's, skittles, ect in a babny bottle & guests how to guess how many candies are in the bottle. Closest guesser wins!

Measure momma's belly- Guests cut a piece of string by guessing how big they thing the momma's belly is. Once everyone has string cut, you measure momma's belly & closest one wins!

Okay... this one is a riot! I just recently went to my cousins baby shower and we played this game. Everyone sat in a circle and we got out a stereo. The hostess told us she wrapped up the ugliest pair of bloomers she could find and put them in the box. There were multiple layers of wrapping paper on it, so when the music started we would pass the box around (BOTH HANDS NO CHEATING). When the music stops the person with the box has to un-wrap one layer of wrapping paper. This continues until the last wrapping is taken off. The person who takes the last wrapper off has to wear the bloomers for the remainder of the shower. (well in all reality the "bloomers" is a corsage, the guests just don't need to know that ;). So obviously pack the box really well so they cant tell) This game is sooo fun cause no one wants to wear some bloomers

You could do a trivia game, where the hostess asks you questions regarding your conception, pregnancy, birth plans, etc. We did this and it went over well at my shower. Some of the questions (again, depends on how risque you want to get):

-In what geographical state was the baby conceived
-What is the gender of the baby
-Assuming the baby arrives on the due date, what will the astrological sign be? The birthstone?
-To date, how many pounds has the mother-to-be gained?
-What is the theme/color scheme of the nursery?
-(If you have a name) What names has the mother picked out?
-Epidural or no epidural?
-What hospital is the mother planning on delivering in?

And so on...it got really competitive at my shower, with everyone wanting to get the highest score to win the prize. Plus, you may only have to answer 'those questions' once!
