Full-day Preschool near Cedar Hills/Beaverton?

Hi L., We had our son at Learning Years at Hawthorne Farms (NOT the one on Jenkins)and really loved it. He was there FT from 1yr to Kindergarten and we were very impressed with all his "teachers" and the staff is wonderful. It's a little bit of a drive from Cedar Hills (we also live in Cedar Hills!)but so, so worth it. I have heard great things about the co-op, but think they offer only part time. Also worth checking out is Chiquito's school, which is a Spanish Immersion school right off Butner. Our son went there for kindy and really liked it. It's smaller classes and the teachers really, really care about your child. They make every day so fun for the kids and really stress academics and person attention. We loved this place. My youngest used to go to Happy Hollow on 99th and beaverton hillsdale hwy. It is behind McCormicks. It is a daycare center, so it costs more, but not as much as kindercare. They had a preschool setting.

My two kids (boy 3 years old and girl 1 & 1/2 years old) have been going there since they were babies. Wonderful center with a wonderful program for the kids. My daughter already knows all her colors, shapes, and can say most of the alphabet!

Check them out they are just a wonderful place full of great staff, parents and kids!

Learning Years off Jenkins Rd by Cedar Hills Shopping center is great.

most centers offer preschool programs for 2 to 2 1/2 hours a day and the rest of the time is play. You can try the kindercare on cedar hills blvd. between barnes and cornell

Try Touchstone Preschool off of Walker just west of 158th.

My daughter goes to the Tigard Touchstone and they have a wonderful program. They are currently learning about planets and the solar system (I can't believe how much they have learned at this age). The Tigard program includes Spanish, PE and music on top of the normal classroom activities. My daughter is using her Spanish words frequently. She saw a butterfly the other day and said, "Mariposa." All of the teachers have been great.

A friend of mine's son goes to the Beaverton Touchstone and they love it. Her boy hardly talked when he started and has totally come out of his shell since he has been at the preschool. Here is the web page: http://beavertontouchstone.com/page.cfm?p=14331

Country Kids Learning Center (Bethany nr Kaiser x Laidlaw) so quite close to Cedar Mill area. Absolutely great program that brings in more structure and academics. In addition the program has kids from 3-5 yrs old so the kids learn other essential social skills as well as can be more challenged if they chose since the older kids are reading already, etc. The program offers FT preschool and after school/evening extension for working families.
