Hi H., I really think you should take him to the hospital as soon as possible or to see his doctor.

Good luck

Hi H.,
The internet is great for a lot of information but this sounds like a medical issue and medical issues should always be brought up to your doctor.
Good luck!

H.,
Speak with your pediatrician and ask them if your son might have developed an allergy to milk. Maybe they can suggest Soy or Rice Milk. We found out my son had an allergy to milk, any dairy, soy and peanuts at 16 months and he has been drinking Rice Milk ever since.

Good luck.

If you are saying that since your son was sick (how long), he can't drink milk without some problem - I'd check with his pediatrician.

Dear H., When your child is sick they should not have milk. Try some water or juice. Does he have a fever? Are you breast feeding? You may need to check with your doctor. My best wishes, Grandma Mary

Good thing you listented to his response now at this young age! I finally figured out my son's sensitivity to dairy at 3 and a half after almost having to have an operation to remove his adenoids & tonsils. I stopped all the dairy and he no longer had congestion or apnea which he had previously!
I give him Rice Dream rice milk now (the organic one as many other rice products & rice itself is genetically modified. I do give him very limited amounts of aged chedder or parmesan cheese on his spaghetti for instance. He has not reacted to the cheeses as they are aged and apparently is easier to digest + I only give him once maybe in every 10 days or so.

Hi H.,
The first thing you should do is call your baby's doctor and explain what is going on. In the meantime you can give him some baby orange juice so he can at least get some calcium. If he was sick just a couple of days, he might have that bad experience and not wanting to go through it again, he doesn't want the milk;the milk will give him more phlem. If he still has phlem it's not a good idea to give him milk because he will vomit again. But please, call the doctor or just take him.
I pray and hope all goes well.
