My daughter is 6 months old and is eating stage 2 beechnut foods. My question is she has a milk and soy allergy, does anyone else have the same problem and were your children able to eat foods that contained noodles, wheat or dried egg yokes? She has no problem eating all other foods and veggies but I was wondering because some of the foods I would like to try contain these foods. Like macoroni and beef dinners and homestyle chicken soup. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again

My 3 year old and 10 month old daughters and also have allergies to wheat, soy, eggs, cow's milk. I have not given my 10 month old homestyle chicken soup either. I suggest that you not give your baby anything that contains soy or cow's milk. She might have a severe reaction to it, such as breaking out in hives. I assume your 6 month old has seen an allergist if you know what she is allergic too. Did the doctor tell you how high the levels are to soy and cow's milk. If it is not too high you might be able to give it to her, and she might not have a reaction to it. People have suggested glutin free products, which you can buy at health food stores. There are plenty of baby foods, that don't contain wheat or eggs, you just have to read the labels on everything. Good Luck.

Hey T....my son, now 24 months had a milk and soy allergy since he was born. He was on Nuramigen til he was about 9 months old then I went to soy then finally to milk. He never had a problem with any food. The beechnut ones were fine by him and he did finally outgrow the allergy! Now he is just allergic to Red Dye 40....yikes and that is in alot and that even seems to be subsiding...you just have to try it and see. good luck!!!!!

Hi T.,

My twin daughters also have milk allergies. One had it early on but has grown out of it and the other developed it at around 4 months. Neither had problems with any of the Beechnut dinners except for the Macaroni & Cheese dinners. We introduced it a little at a time during lunch in case of a reaction.

Good luck!

My daughter had the same until she turned 2. She was allergic to every milky product, soy and eggs. I was geting crazy. The only milk she was able to drink was RICE milk. However, she was able to eat pasta like noodles and macaroni without trouble. When she turned two she started to resist the milk ,so I started mixing both milks and gradually introducing the eggs. Thankfully she tolerated this food.

I process my son (5 months) food at home.
If you already have or can gain access to a food processor (blender leaves lumps). Keep it out on the counter. When you are cooking for the family just toss her portion in with a bit of water and blend until smooth.
Most foods freeze well so you can't make too much.

This is the only way to know exactly what is going in her tummy.
I wonder if she has a gluten allergy?

I find that mixing apples with just about any veggie gets my boy to eat it. (or maybe she like bananas better)
Good luck and God Bless.
