Flower Arragement Delivery from Sam's Club

Does anyone have any experience using Sam's Club Floral Delivery? I need to buy a few floral arrangements for an upcoming event and want to know if Sam's Club is good quality and cheaper. We are on a very tight budget, but this is for a semi-formal, serious event. Sam's Club offers online ordering and home delivery on a wide selection of bouquet arrangements. Is it worth it, in your opinion, over using a local (more expensive) florist?

I should note that I am not interested in buying cut flowers from a local Sam's or Costo (or any other store) and making arrangements myself. I need professionally arranged bouquets in containers that are ready for display at a semi-formal event.

Thanks for any input or ideas you can offer!

First, check with a local florist on pricing. Let them know your needs and budget, see what they can do for you. The quality of the flowers will likely be better, but the quality of the design itself will definitely be better. Florists will often give you a deal on a larger number of arrangements if they are all the same. You may also have the option of renting or providing your own vases, which can sometimes cut costs. Also, you may want to check Craig's list or similar to see if there are freelance floral designers in your area. They often work out of their homes, have less overhead, and can give you a better price, but are still professional designers. The "designers" at Sam's Club likely have far less training and experience, which is why their work is cheaper. If you do go with Sam's, I would recommend picking out a very simple bouquet, such as all one type of flower, low and full in a vase. Something like that is harder for a less experienced designer to screw up.

I've used Sam's club many time for floral arrangements. Now, I've never used the on-line service or delivery; but, I've ordered many arrangements various times and have always been pleased.

i used sams flowers for my wedding, i arranged them myself which I know you dont want to do. But the delivery and quality of the wholesale flowers was great! The flowers were beautiful and fresh! I would highly recommend them.
