Flooring Co. Recommendation Needed

We need to replace our hardwood floors due to water damage. We have checked out Stone Mountain Flooring and All-American Flooring in Lewisville (121 & 35) but would feel better if anyone who has purchased from them would provide feedback on their experience. Also, does anyone have a flooring place that they would recommend?

Thanks so much!

We JUST went through this whole thing too! In fact, the last of our flooring is being installed tonight. We went everywhere, talked to everyone, and I even posted on Mamasource just like you. The man we ended up with what a HUGE blessing, because he is honest, trustworthy, and his prices are AMAZING! He owns his own company, and we were able to get high end carpet, laminate, and tile for the same cost as the lowest grade products at Lowes. No one could even come close to beating his deal. His name is Geoff Brown, and he owns All Pro Floors. He can be reached at ###-###-#### or ____@____.com him know that the Allens referred you! He'll take great care of you, and everything will be installed FAST :-).

I have never had hardwood floors installed, but I have used Winston Floors in Plano for many years for the installation of laminate floors and carpet. I have a lot of rental property so I use them quite a bit. Winston Floors also installs hardwood floors and does quite a bit of tile work. For my jobs they have always been fair, honest, hard-working, and reasonable. They have done excellent work on the laminate and the carpet installations. I'm sure they could provide references for the hardwood installations. It's a family owned business and good people. Call them at ###-###-####.

I don't have a recommendation for you, but I will say that we have had a terrible experience with Coker -- and we're not the only ones. One of our good friends (who used a different Coker store than we did) also had problems.

Good luck!

We used Nadine's in East Plano for our hard wood floors and were very happy with the price and installation.
