My twin girls will be turning one on April 6th. Does anyone know of a good park or a similar location that would be able to host a party of about 60? I'm not familiar with event locations in Petaluma......Thank you!

There are a few parks in Petaluma that are good for parties. For one your size I would try Mc Near park on the west side, its on G st on the west side. There is also Lucchesi park On Mc Dowell Blvd, or Leghorn Park next to the G & G shopping center. Check with the city though because you may need a deposit for a group as big as yours. Hope thats a little helpful for you, and good luck.

McNear is awesome, you can reserve the picnic area through Petaluma Parks and Rec. Keep in mind with Lucchesi that there is A LOT of duck poop on the path around the pond. My two year old fell there and his cut was badly infected, even though we washed it right away. Another place to consider is the Cheese Factory out D street about 7 or 8 miles or Helen Putman regional park which is out Western Avenue (it does have a parking fee though)

Leghorn Park over by the JC and G&G Market is a great new park. There are play structures for the older kids, as well as smaller ones for the little guys. There are also plenty of picnic tables, clean bathrooms and a little gazebo type structure which also has picnic tables underneath.
Hope that helps!

McNear park is a great park and I know a lot of people do party's at Lucchesi. Lucchesi doesn't have a lot of shade though.
