Hello, I haven't been to church in two years and I am wanting to get back into church again. The thing is I moved here about 3 years ago and I tried one church but I didn't see a nursery in it and the kids had to stay with me and my husband during the church service. It wasn't too bad then since it was my oldest two daughters but every since I had my youngest daughter (she is two years old now) I haven't gone back to that church because I know there is no way that she will sit during church service. Before I moved here in Burleson I use to go to a Baptist Church in my home town and they had a nursery and another room for 2 year olds and up to go to while the parents where at the church service and that is what I want to find here. Does anyone know of a church like that. ( I prefer a Baptist Church but if I have to then I will try another church just to get back into church like I use too). My daughters are 11, 6 and 2 years old. I want a church we can ALL enjoy. Thanks

What can I do next?

He G., Bethesda Baptist Church in a Southern Baptist church just south of Burleson. We have a nursery for age 4 and under, but the older kids set thru church. Although we do have a short service for the kids up front for a few minutes.
I have some friends that attend Reece Prairie Church. I think they have a children service.
Also, Alsbury Baptist has a good children service.

We go to boulevard baptist church, it has a nursery for infants and then starting at 2 years they have a class for every age. This is available sundays and wednesday night services also. We feel it is a great church with a good pastor and members that make you feel welcome. Hope
to see you there.

The Church on Rush Creek in South Arlington has a terrific children's program for newborns thru teens. Toddlers are taught about Jesus; 3,4,5's have small group study/crafts then a joint worship service just for that age; same with kindergarten thru 1st, 2nd thru 4th, 5th & 6th, then 7th-12th. Adults have their own services while your children are happily entertained and taught about God. I'm one of the teachers in the 3,4 & 5's. We have several members that drive from Burleson and even Aledo. Here's the website: www.rushcreek.org Happy to see you're wanting to get you and your family back into church! Blessings! ~ N.

The Church at Burleson (TCAB), is the church we chose to attend when we were dating, in 2001. We have made this our home church, and love it there. Someone mentioned above, that it is non-denominational, however, it is Baptist, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention of Texas.
(See website: www.tcab.org for more info). Our pastor speaks on topics realting to our daily living, and pulls scripture from the Bible that relates to these topics. The Bible is the single book that we use in our church.

There is PraisePlace for the 2-3 year olds, of which my son is currently in (he just turned 3), and they have a wonderful degreed teacher that heads up that age group, and they have playtime, as well as do a Bible lesson in there each week. I have worked in the baby nursery for 3 years now, and it is well run, immaculately clean, and everyone in there, as well as the older rooms, are all run by volunteers/church members/attenders. There are no paid employees, so everyone working in the kids rooms are affiliated with our church.

Should you have any further questions about TCAB, feel free to email me and ask. We are very involved and the people there are like family! We run about 1000 attenders each week, in 2 services.

Check out Crestmont Baptist Church. I believe it's off of Alsbury. Not sure though so go online and check out their website and get directions. Before my husband started pastoring we were members there. It's a great church and seems to have a great children's program.

That's awesome that you are getting your children and yourself back in church. Keep at it! Blessings!

If you are looking for a large church, TCAB, as mentioned before. The pastor is great, the people are nice, children's program, but the church body is very large.

I have chosen to attend a smaller church, Brazos. It is a Christian church and is about 5 years old. It is located off of Johnson Street in Burleson. The pastor really teaches the scripture. All of the people are very friendly. Although they are currently small, they do have a children's program. My daughter who is 10 loves loves loves her class! She is one of the main reasons I gave the church a try. She had attended VBS and wanted to go back. I hope that you find what you are looking for and hope that you visit Brazos and see what you think about it. Best of luck and I know you will feel better once you find a church home.

The Church at Burleson is a great church but it is non-denominational. I know the pastor from when he was a youth minister and really enjoyed hearing him. I have friends that attend Bethseda Baptist and the really like it. I would suggest visiting around to see what works best for you. God will give you peace about where you need to be.
