My husband & I have decided we want to move up north w/in the next 5 years or so. We know what we need to do financially to make that happen, but we're not sure the best way to go about it. Any advice on a reliable, legit financial adviser??? Preferably in the Carrollton or North Dallas, (635 & Josey), area. What about the Dave Ramsey team??? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Ameriprise Financial will charge a flat fee .... I think about $500 (though sometimes there's a discount with Costco or American Express Platinum) and Chris gives very good advice and planning.

I recently transferred my retirement IRA, 401K rollover as well as most of my other financials to an advisor who has become a trusted friend. Young guy, very, very sharp, and I originally went with him because he charges me much, much less than the big guys.

Call him and visit with him, and tell him I sent you. Stephen Clayton - ###-###-#### I like him enough I had my Mother call him from El Paso. She transferred all her retirement programs to him.

Call Dave Ramsey's office!!! They will do what's perfectly best for you and your situation and give you a plan to save money and make sound decisions.

He also has endorsed local providers in Dallas.
