I would like to create a family tree but i am not sure where to start, if anyone could help i would be so greatful. The best part is that my daughter wants to help me and she is only 8.

Try Ancestry.com they offer a lot of different things,and help w/research.Good Luck

My husband has been making one for our daughter on myheritage.com. We have just been doing the free version where you can put a picture, birthdate, deathdate, etc. I know there is a version that is I think $8 a month. I'm not sure what that offers.
I love this site for the family tree but also there is a real fun feature. You can put in your picture and it brings up a list of celebritys that you look enough like to be related to. It's just a fun little thing. It is a great laugh!!

Usually you start with interviewing your relatives and getting their information (birth dates, marriage dates, etc.) Then ask them what they remember about the rest of the family and descendants. Keep in mind that people don't always remember things the same and spellings vary. Good luck!
