Ok just wondering are you friends with family and everybody you know and went to school with (even from other classes) or just family and people who you talk to on there the most? I'm friends with all my family which is over half my friends and most of my high school classmates and some other people who I talk to but just on facebook (we don't hang out we just talk on there). Thanks

What can I do next?

I am friends with all my family and people I know from being grown and people I went to school with.

However, like the one person with her MIL, my own MOTHER is on Facebook and has to make a comment about EVERY SINGLE THING I say! I love her to death, but want to delete her sooo bad!! LOL

I have set up groups so I can easily see what's happening with family, friends from college, friends from high school, and local friends. Very diverse groups so it drives me batty to see everyone at once. I apreciate being able to catch up on what is happening in the small town I grew up in and with friends throughout different points in my life. I am bad about keeping in touch so enjoy that Facebook has made it easy for me to do so. I'm lucky in that most of the friends I have are mature enough that while there are life experiences, there isn't a lot of drama. We've been able to offer support and be kept in the loop when a friend from college lost her husband recently. I have friends with varying political beliefs and for the most part they are all able to express themselves respectfully. I guess I'm lucky because not everyone is able to do this.

I'm not in touch with HS friends from almost 30 years ago. Maybe 3 people from elementary school have found me. I'm not "friends" with my inlaws and don't accept friend requests from people who I barely know or have no interest in being in contact with.

I am friends with old friends and family and I've found a few new friends
It's fun for me to find people with the same interests as I do because I do have some pretty specialized interests. It's also great to find people that work in the field that I am studying to get into.

Family, a few friends from high school, and lots of friends who I have never personally met but play games like FarmVille and Cafe World with.

I am friends with those I am either still friends with or old friends. And also family, of course. Not just people I met in passing in the hallway or anything like that. I have just barely over 100.

I have close friends, family, ex coworkers, and some HS friends who I grew up with. I often go through and will delete those who I haven't had any interaction with. I keep my list pretty small. It's in the 70s right now.

I have a lot of "friends" that are a mixture of old and new and family and acquaintences, however, I clean up my facebook friends a lot too. Meaning that if I have a friend that we really don't communicate much or it was kind of a "ok, I'll accept your friend request thing" - I un-friend them after a few months.

My friends list is rather short. I have some family on there and some of my daycare parents and a few parents that I am no longer providing care for but still keep up with. Recently I started to acquire a few people that I went to school with over 30 years ago! I was 12 when I left this tiny little town I grew up in. I was HORRIBLY bullied on a daily basis for 7 years in that school. But I believe it's finally time to confront my past head on. People are being nice from a distance. I've been invited to help with the restoration of the grade school that's sat empty for 20 years or so. I haven't decided if I will go or for what event.

No. I am not a "gotta catch them all" person. If I don't have a reason to keep in touch, then you aren't on my FB list. I'm not even friends with all my family for various reasons. I do have a couple of people I've Friended where I'm okay with them but not close and they don't see everything I post. I have about 100 people on my list and I would sit down to dinner with every one of them, even the annoying ones.

I WAS friends with family, kids and their friends. But it quickly got very annoying. My MIL would make a comment about nearly every flippin thing on my wall, all comments, EVERYTHING. I saw things from my oldests son friends that frankly I did not want to know. And then there were things I didn't want THEM seeing between my friends and I. So I deleted that page, and blocked all family and kids.
F.B. is my main social outlet most of them time as I a SAHM to young boys now. So I need a little privacy in my life LOL

All family that is on, well over 100, then a fair amount of old classmates from highschool & college, another 100 or a little less.

Every year or so I go through my friends and if I really have no talked with that person in a year, even a like on their picture or status I delete them. I never delete family even if we talk very little or never, it is still nice to see their updates and for them to see mine (but morethenlikely either one of us has made a statement or liked something in the past year).

Im "friends" with some family but not all, some HS friends but very few, some neighbors and real friends I see often, and some online friends Ive met, and some Ive never met. I have 95 on my list, and probably only hear from about 30 on a regular basis. I have only requested "friends" with 4 or 5. The rest had to ask me. I have ignored a few requests from strangers, and some from people I felt just want to snoop in my business, and some who maybe felt obligated to ask, like a neighbor guy who Im sure didnt really want to connect with me but FB auto prompts names from your email address and he must have clicked "duuh, ok" when mine came up. I ignored him. Im sure he doesnt really need to hear what Im doing all the time.He had 4 friends when I got the invite,, it was obvious he was just starting out. I dont need everyone in touch with me.
