Hello.

I need to visit an eye doctor for the basics, but really like a good one as my eyes have never been that great. Love to find a Dr. someone has enjoyed visiting themselves. I have United for insurance and I'm in South Fairfax county if that helps.

Really appreciate the suggestions!

So What Happened?

Thanks for the inputs! I learned through this that everyone LOVES a NoVa eyecare that has offices in Belle View, Falls Church and others. Unfortunately that one was not listed with United. Another lady suggested 'The Eye Doctors' in Springfield. That is with United. I am thankful to everyone for taking time to advise. It was greatly appreciated.

I agree with Wild One. I go to NoVa Docs of Optometry as well. I have been for at least 15 years now. One of the docs is a very good friend of mine and even helped me out when I was having problems with my pregnancies. They have several docs but not all can been seen at each location. Several of my family members also go and we all see different docs. They have all been great and the office staff is wonderful as well.

My uncle is an eye doctor in NoVa. His name is Dr. Leonard Larson. I used to go to him when we lived up there. We haven't been in the area for some time, so I'm not sure where his office is now. I'm seeing a couple of different addresses online (Fairfax and Falls Church). The reviews I've checked are all complementary. I have no idea what kind of insurance he takes, but I'm sure you can call and find out!

I also use Northern Va. Doctors of Optometry! I have seen Dr. Linda Miller there for many, many years and she is wonderful -- both as an optometrist and as a person. My husband has seen a couple of other doctors in the practice and thought they were fine too. We go to the Falls Church location and I'm not sure which doctors work at which locations, but you can check. Good luck with your search. It's important to have a good optometrist!
