I wouldn't eat it.

But did you see the lady on Hoarders that kept it and ate it as long as the containers weren't *puffy*? LOL

No. I always have lived by the '7 days past expiration' for all dairy, unless it doesn't pass the sniff test. Something my foods teacher taught me in 7th grade. It's never failed me yet.

I would probably give it a week past the sell by. If I have yogurt that is approaching expiry I freeze it.

Being that yogurt is already fermented, it's kind of in a different category. As long as it's not furry, and smells OK, I'd probably eat it. But, I'm kind of adventurous that way!

I'm in the 'it's different from milk' group because yogurt has been fermented. Especially if the container wasn't opened, it might well be fine. If it's not fuzzy and the taste is normal, I'd probably go for it.

NO I would not eat it after the sell by date personally and if it was after only a day or so.

That made me laugh, Penelope! I ate a yogurt this morning (7/12) with an expiration of 6/25. It was fine. It's been almost 12 hours and I'm not sick. But of course, I made sure it wasn't fuzzy :)

I'm with Penelope too. As long as it's not furry and smells normal, I'd eat it.

With yogurt, it depends. It lasts a lot longer than milk does. You can taste test it, and you'll just know if it's gone bad. Then you rinse your mouth, brush your teeth, and toss it. I've had yogurt that's fine nearly a month later and yogurt that went fuzzy after two weeks past the expiry.

It's fermented. Different rules. It is probably fine.

Nope, I wouldn't eat it. I would toss it, why chance getting sick from it.

Absolutely not. 7 days max with dairy.

A week is the latest, I'm pretty sure. That's too long, toss it.

I look at it and if I don't see mold I go for it.
