Hi K.! We went to Disney last year with our 2yo daugther and we went to Magic Kingdom and MGM (which I think is now called Disney Hollywood Studios). MK was great because of the parades, rides for little ones and the opportunity to "meet" Mickey and several princesses. MGM was her favorite, though, because of the Playhouse Disney stage. They do a live show with Winnie the Pooh, JoJo, Little Einsteins, etc. If your daughter watches any playhouse disney, she'll love it! My daughter still talks about meeting and hugging Quincy and Leo from Einsteins. We only did those two parks and I highly recommend them. I'm sure the other parks are great, too. It was tough for us to choose just two to visit. If you need to pick just one, I would suggest MK for the whole disney experience with the princess castle, tea cups, it's a small world, etc. Good luck and have a great time!

Hi, K..

We've taken our daughter to both - Florida and California - and of the two I highly recommend Disneyland in California.

Be prepared to spend alot of money either place....costumes, snacks, toys, meals with characters, etc.

We went to Disneyland California at the end of October during the week. Timing it this way helped us avoid tourist crowds and the season pass holders. We stayed in a Disney hotel across from the parks, within walking distance. We ate breakfast and dinner with the characters. It's actually "the thing" to get a princess dress and wear it all day. The characters were everywhere and very affectionate and willing to snap crazy pictures. There were parades and shows in the streets throughout the day. They have a shopping and restaurant area attached to one of the hotels. My daughter was four when we went and was able to ride almost everything. Her favorites were the Matterhorn and Space Mountain. There are a million activities and shows to see. The Imax flight over California was amazing. Playhouse Disney was very interactive, as was It's a Bug's Life. The weather was absolutely perfect - no humidity, no rain, not too hot. Best of all, no bugs!

Disneyland in Florida was okay, but we barely saw any characters and the lines were simply unbelievably long. Even though we did the Fast Pass for rides, it was too much for a little one's patience to wait in such a long line. We were there in February, so the humidity and bugs were non-existent at the time.

Disneyland in California was one of our favorite family vacations so far, and of the two parks, it's the one we've all agreed we'd go back to.

Whichever you choose, have a great time! It is an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Disney is always fun but may be beter for 5 year olds and up. You can do more and she will remember more. We are planning a trip to Sesame place,it's 30 minutes north of Philadelphia, when our twins hit 3. It is more geared for the little ones and may be a bit less expensive, I'm not sure about that. I have several friends who have gone with their 2-4 year olds and loved it. What ever you pick I hope you have a great time.
