Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a comfortable bra. I have seriously tried to find a brand that I really like. I usually buy Victoria Secrets bras. I purchased the "Ipex" and it has to be the most uncomfortable bra I have worn in my life..other than a strapless. The body by Victoria is good, but not perfect.

Right now, I'm hard to fit. I'm loosing weight and the first place I loose it, unfortunately, is my chest area. I'm now right between a C-cup..almost a Full-B cup. I wish there was a B 1/2 cup? I have been buying a 38-C, and it's a little poochy in the front.

Any ideas?? I don't mind spending money on a bra as long as it's comfortable. I mostly wear t-shirts so I would prefer something seamless with an underwire.

I would REALLY appreciate any ideas!

Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Cacique (available at Lane Bryant) is comparable in price to the Body by Victoria bra and come in the sizes you want. Both Lane Bryant and Victoria's Secret do bra fittings which, as I've been losing weight, I've found to be very, very helpful. I will say that the Cacique bras pooch less than the Body by Victoria bras.

I know of the most AMAZING BRA EVER!!!! Screw victoria secret!!!! You need to get a Wacoal Bra!!! I was addicted to Victoria Secret--(mind u they have great underwear and sweats)--but go to Nordstroms or Dillards.....they are about 10 bucks cheeper then Victoria Secret-- and they have every type of bra you need---Plus Nordstroms--best bra sizing ladies I have ever met!!! I recently got inplants after my son was born...could not find a bra that fit right -- my best friend Tricia introduced this bra to me-- she had to have major reconstructive breast surgury---she swears by this bra-- Dillards also makes a bra that is $20 and I wear it every day -- another perfect one--Dillards Cabernet, style # 10764---and again I can not stress enough---u will never buy a victoria secret BRA again---

Go to the Nordstrom's at Park Meadows---they will fit you for free and then bring you a bunch of different styles to try in the dressing room. My favorite bra is the I-Bra by Wacoal. It's seamless and provides great support---they also have a ton of matching panties in different styles (hipster, thong, brief, etc). After I had my fitting I went back to work and told all my friends what a great experience I had---they went and had the same thing done and still thank me because they are finally in a bra that fits and that they like.

Best wishes.

Wacoal all the way! I have recommended this to many friends and they too are happy with them. They can be pricey but worth every penny!!!

I have a Playtex Thank Goodness it Fits bra, which goes in "nearly" sizes, for example, I am "nearly" a size B cup, so once you have the chest measurement, you can get the "nearly" C cup and it's padded so it won't pooch out in front. It's great for tighter-fitting t-shirts. I also have a Barely There bra which I like because it's so comfortable, but it may not be enough support for you. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Well good luck with the weight loss :) I think it is playtex that makes 1/2 sizes. Granted they are not Victoria secrets pretty but they will fit and be comfy. I would stick with those until you are at your ideal weight then resume your search for something more permanent.

I love this question! I have the same problem after nursing three kids things have never been the same! I could always get away with no underwire because I was small and young! I like Natori, they sell it at Nordstrom and Neimans etc. Nordstrom is great because of their service and return policy. This is hard because there are so many options and who has time to go try on bra's, especially with your three year old in tow! Good luck!

I just got done nursing about 4 months ago, and I;ve had problems buying bras, too. I finally got a new BioFit bra from Victoria Secret that just came out about two weeks ago!

Love it!

Nordstrom's will do a great bra fit and I know there are places that do have half-cup sizes. Good luck!

I think it's Playtex that makes an inbetween size cup. The plus is they are a bit cheaper, so since you're loosing weight you wouldn't be out a lot when you're too skinny to wear it. Congratulations on the weight loss! Keep it up!
