I have so many questions that keep coming up for me today!
My son has started drooling like crazy. It's not spit up or anything like that but he is just literally drooling and spitting out saliva. It's driving me insane cause I'm constantly wiping off drool! He is only 9 weeks, but everything I've looked up says that it's a sign of teething. Really? At nine weeks? Could this be true or is it something else? I don't know anything about teething babies but I don't understand why he's suddenly doing this!
Well....some babies are just droolmeisters! You can always spot them...the ones with bibs ven when they're not eating, etc. haha
Then again, some babies are born with teeth! Rare but true.
Mine were both droolers... It doesn't always have to do with teething, but it could be.
some babies can get teeth as early as four months. my son drool for at least three months before he got teeth. Sorry, he is a baby as he is going to drool and it will not get any better. make sure to have lots of bibs.
My son got his 1st 2 bottom teeth at 4 months old and he probably drooled for a month before that while those teeth worked their way up. So it could be that or maybe he is just a droller. I've seen babies that always have to wear a bib, they are just a little messier.
Maybe. My son had 2 teeth by 4 months. And 4 by about 5 months. I have heard of some kids being BORN with teeth already. And there are my poor nieces, whom none of the 3 got ANY teeth until almost their first birthday. LOL
It is early, but it is possible.

If I remember right, babies start showing the signs of teething sometimes months before they cut an actual tooth. 9 weeks is pretty early. You might just have a drool factory on your hands for several months. If you use a bib, his clothes won't get so wet.
Don't be suprised if he is teething!! It is possible. My son got his two bottom teeth at 4 months old.

Babies drool. Lots. It's like a switch is flipped and the floodgates open! haha For my girls, it's been between 10-14 weeks.
While drooling *can* be a sign of teething, it doesn't mean that he's teething just because he's drooling. Babies also start to cram everything they can get their little hands on into their mouths. My youngest actually chapped her hands from chewing on them. But again, while babies do this to relieve the pressure of teething, just because they're doing this doesn't mean they *are* teething.
mine all got their first tooth at 3 months, so it is possible. You may be able to feel the lump on his lower gum if that is it, but it could take a while, so you might not feel anything.

Most babies drool just because they drool. I forget why, but it's something about their muscles and how they often keep their mouths open? Anyway, some babies drool a lot, and some drool a little. Many babies just wear bibs all the time! Also, some babies will pop that first tooth at 4 months and some not until 1 year. Only time will tell.
