Early Signs of Pregnancy??

Hello Mamas! My husband and I had a close call...we think. I got off birth control almost 2 months ago. I had my last cycle 1 1/2 wks ago. Two days after I ended my husband didn't "pull out" completely in time. Anyways these last 4 days or so I have been nauseous and have even thrown up that stomach acid stuff, sensitive to smell, feel some cramping or pressure, high sex drive, basically symtoms as if I were going to start my period or maybe even pregnant. It's obviously too early to take a pregnancy test but I'm wondering if it's possible to feel signs this soon. Has anyone felt they were pregnant or knew they were pregnant before it was too soon to test?

What can I do next?

Both times, I knew right away, good luck! (way before any test would let us know)

Sounds like you're not alone. I felt tenderness in my breasts almost immediately. I took a test five days before I was due to start my period (after a week of suspecting) and it came back positive. I remember calling my doctor that day only to be told that they didn't want to see me until I was at least 6 weeks along. I was so excited to be pregnant and totally disappointed I wasn't going to get it confirmed professionally for more than a month! Anyway, start taking your vitamins and congratulations if it turns out to be good news!

Yes, I became very emotional almost immediatley. My number 1 symptom was that my breasts were extremely tender. I would take a test, however, it is a little early so be sure if the symptoms persist, see a Dr!

My mother claims that she's known she was pregnant within 3-5 days of conception every time (she's been pregnant 6 times). I think it's totally possible.

Get a test! I thought I had the flu and was so mad because my husband had been sick! I was all " You gave me the flu!" turns out that was not ALL he had given me, lol.

My breasts were sore, I couldn't sleep, just felt lethargic - and food made me feel just sick. I was telling a GF of mine with 2 kids that I just 'couldn't get over this flu bug' and she listened to me for about a minute and said " Buy a pregnancy test and get over here!" lol- she knew right away.

This all started the week right after I had the sex that resulted in my son! ( I know, because I felt so lousy, I didn't have sex again for a couple of weeks). There are very good OTC tests now that can tell you almost immediately.
get a test :) I hope this works out the way you want it to!!

I had symptoms right away... like the one's you mentioned. I knew right away. I also got breast tenderness too.

So until you know for sure... take pre-natal vitamins... and be healthy.

all the best,
Susan

You could be! I know people that have symptoms only a week after conception. Take a test as soon as you can. Good Luck : ).

Hormones are what cause most symptoms, so if your hormone levels aren't high enough to test, then they aren't high enough to cause symptoms. now on my 4th pregnancy, I can tell you I had "phantom pregnancy" many times while trying. But on all the months I actually was pregnant- no symptoms. The mind is a funny thing.
