It does not matter what kind of Foundation i wear I always have a streacy line look on my cheeks by my nose to the center of the cheek. It's more noticiable with any trpe of powder.I do use a exfoliating mouisture cream and pt on a cream before bed and befor makeup but it is still there. You can see the pores too so do I need to use a toner or something ? What can i do that will make it look smoother without makeup at all there it's fine!?

What can I do next?

It is difficult to answer your question without actually seeing your skin. I have very large pores which have been reduced using microdermabrasion and a product to restore skin balance. I would like to send you some samples if you are interested or I could meet with you for a consultation. There is not a simple answer that fits all skin types. I never used anything but soap and water on my face but am much happier with my cosmetics since I found the cleanser and moisturizer which were right for me. It has made all of the difference for me. Take a look at my personal website and contact me if you feel I can be of help. www.marykay.com/valflynn Best of luck. Congratulations on your impending wedding.

I recommend a moisturizer formulated for your particular skin type (normal, dry, oily). I also recommend a microdermabrasion treatment to minimize the appearance of your pores. Also, consider trying the mineral-based foundation. It resists settling into fine lines, has antioxidants, and excellent coverage.

I am a beauty consultant and provide free facials and consultation.

Hey V.,
I love my skin care line and makeup line. they are by the same natural company and i love it! you should be using a toner after your cleanser, (its kinda like putting your clothes in the dryer before rinsing them) and there is also a pm cream and am cream. (theres a difference and it may make one for you) the key, i think, to a good skin care regiment is to take all the steps and not to skip any.

heres the link to my skin care and makeup line:

*I also do parties so you can invite some of your friends, try out our product lines and learn how to use them!
let me know if youre interested:)

Without seeing your skin and your particular problem, it's hard to tell what could solve the problem. Best advice is to have a consultation with a professional- most medical aesthetics offices do not charge for a consultation nor do they get any sort of compensation for their "sales", and typically are Registered Nurses trained in Aesthetics or Licensed Aestheticians. Also, it could be the way you're applying your make-up--the cosmetics counters don't charge for consultations either--and most don't require any purchase--but make sure first! Good Luck!

I use bare minerals make-up and have never gotten streaks. It also hides pores and blemishes. If you want to improve your skin you can get a pore reducer (which can come in a cream/gel or liquid but you're going to have to retrain your skin and that can take up to 8 weeks. The routine you're supposed to follow is cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize. My skin is too sensitive to do that every day so I exfoliate every other day (a toner will also exfoliate your skin). If you're near a bath and body works flagship store they have a ton of great products you can try and see what works for you. Hope this helps!

congrats on the upcoming wedding. I have really dry skin also so I can say from experience that I have tried the Arbonne Nutrimic Re9 set and it completely cured my dry skin. If you are interested you can give me a call at ###-###-#### and I will bring you a sample bag and you can give it a try and see if it will work for you as well as it did me. Another good thing to look for in products going on your skin is to make sure that it contains no type of mineral oil. Mineral Oil will act as an eclusive barrier on your skin covering it up and not letting it breathe. Mineral Oil was originally for burn victims. Alot of beauty products have mineral oil to be able to have the longlasting shelf life for resale.

hi V., i just started using this makeup called bare essentials and it is the best makeup out there. it is made up of minerals, aka bare minerals, liquid toners can clog up your pores and make your skin dry out, this doesn't clog your pores, it works so well and is so fine that you can even sleep with it and it will not irriatate your pores, you can find it at qvc and they have starter kits available. it really looks like your natural skin and that you don't even have much makeup on, but gives you a nautral look.

Hi V.,

Here is an CHEAP and EASY skin care trick that will make you smooth as a baby's backside!
Buy a fresh peach, cut off a slice, rub over entire face, wait 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water. The natural alpha-hydroxy acid in peach juice will exfoliate your skin and leave it beautiful!
God bless!
