have you tried hair spray and water. You spray it with hair spray and take a damp cloth and wrap it a way.

There is a cleaning solution for dry erase boards - you can find it on the same aisle as the markers. I don't know if it's safe for suede, so try spraying a bit of in on the back side of the couch first, just in case.

I have also had some success getting various inks out of fabric with rubbing acohol or hair spray.
Again, I've never tried them on suede, so try it on the back side first.

RESOLVE MULTI FABRIC, spray it all over the cushion use a clean rag to wipe! I've used it ever since it came out, this product is wonderful! I don't use my cleaning machine anymore. It's removed everything a 4 and 9yr old can get on white furniture. Great product.

Morning K.;

I have to say I totally agree with you. Though the company I work with has amazing safe products that don't use harsh chemicals or toxins in there products. There is one Product that gets red nail polish off a white carpet/permanent marker off walls called SOL-U-Mel so it might be of help to you. The only thing is that you have to be a member to get these products. If you want more info contact me at ____@____.com

Good Luck

I am not sure if it would work on your particular fabric, but when my daughter was small she took a red permanent marker to our white carpet. I sprayed Simple Green on it and it worked like magic! Maybe that would be your solution. Good luck.

Hi K.,

Sorry to hear about the couch.

Someone once wrote in about dry-erase stains on clothes, and a mama said that Murphy's Oil Soap worked (with a lot of effort). I don't know if it's safe to use on suede, but it might be worth a shot. I've used it to get marks off of a dress, but the stains were fresh, and it took a lot of time. Also, I used a cloth behind the stain (rubbed in the soap and periodically moved the cloth underneath as the color transfered), so I'm not sure if it will work on a couch. Maybe you could alternate rubbing the soap in and dabbing with a clean cloth? Also, it might be hard to get the soap out after. Still, if you are desperate and patient and don't get better advice, it might be worth a try. My stain came out all the way, but again--it took a lot of work.

Good luck!

If you are a Melaleuca shopper you could try sol-u-mel &/or pre-spot. I use both these products to remove permanent marker, ink pen, dry erase marker, wet erase marker, pencil, salsa, blood, and I'm sure a few more stains that are escaping me.

That sucks !!!! But, I feel your pain.... Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do . . .except to find a pretty blanket to throw over it or re-upholster, or replace. I work for a furniture restoration company and have seen many of these incidents. You could call a professional cleaning company and have them try to clean it, but it probably won't come out no matter what.

Hi K.,
We had a similar situation with DEM on a special paint finish on our walls(It's "sanded" so it's like SUPER flat paint)and rubbing alcohol worked there-the paint faded but only b/c of the scrubbing-I'd think it wouldn't hurt suede to use alcohol on it. We just used a spray bottle and a white wash cloth to apply/clean it.
I hope this helps!
