For 3 yo boys tumbling class..the teachers want the kids to come in dressed like an insect. No Halloween costumes allowed. All we could think of is buy bingo markers in different colors and spot him on all exposed skin. We need intennas....but other than the spots....can't think of anything else. Stupid I know. Got any ideas?

What can I do next?

I'd put him all in green, use long green socks for extra legs (or skip that part) and put headbands with dilly boppers on their heads. Or, if he won't stand for that, maybe a hat with something buggy on it.

Cut little green wings out of felt and hot glue them to the back of a tshirt. Bend pipe cleaners for antenna and put them around a head band. Take the excess felt and cut circles or stripes and glue them to the front of his shirt.

a spider is easy to make. T-shirt, tube socks filled with stuffing.....you can even add googly eyes to his face!!!!!!!!!! I do put string between the socks just so they don't droop.

Do they have uniforms? Or wear whatever?

You can dress them like bees, and paint yellow and black stripes on them. Or use tape like MMM said below.

If they wear what they want dress them all in Green and make wings out of sheer fabric and pin to their backs and give them antenna's to look like Grasshoppers.
