Hi Moms!
Does anyone own the Peg Perego Aria Twin double stroller? What has been your experience with it? Any problems? Would you recommend it? We tried it out in the store, and it seems to be great. However, I have read many bad reviews on it.
We have a 22 month old and a newborn, and we are looking for something that they can both nap in. We currently have a Graco Duoglider. I don't like how big and bulky it is, it takes up a lot of room in the car, and my older son (who is tall for his age) can't really recline in it.
Another option I was considering is the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Deluxe. It converts from a double stroller to the sit-and-stand option. I can't find a store that has this in stock to try though. Apparently, the older child has to sit in the back. I don't think my oldest would like that. Also, it doesn't accommodate our Chicco Key Fit infant seat, so I don't know how our infant would ride in it until he is sitting up.
Anyone have experience with this one?

Thanks for your help!

The Right Start store in Plano carries a double stroller which converts into the Sit and Stand. You might want to try them. You also can go on their website, www.rightstart.com. The address is 5809 Preston Road, Suite 582 75093, phone number ###-###-####. They were sold out when I visited about a week ago but promise to call when more came in.

It is pricey. But worth every penny. It will hold up to 60 lbs. on each side. Also, you can clip your baby car seat in. Also, it is the same width as a wheelchair, so it fits through all spaces. I can stear it with one hand, ans it goes over all terrain. Also lightwight. It is the bugaboo of double strollers. My twins are almost three, and we still use it all the time.

I have a 22 month old daughter and 5 month old son so I neede a double stroller. I looked at almost every double stroller on the market and read a ton of reviews. We have the peg piko3 and love it, but it is a single. I loved it I still keep it in the car so when I just have one child with me. So of course my first thought was to buy the Aria Twin, but when I went to try it out in the store my daughter's shoulders barely fit and she is 35 inches tall and weighs 24 pounds. She is skinny so I was suprised at how little room there was. My son is husky so we needed something wider. I finally bought the Combi Twin Savvy LX (has the cup holders). I love it! It does not accomidate a infant car seat, but it has a cover you use to put an infant in so they don't slide out. I would just put the baby in it and he would fall right to sleep. I bought it online at elitecarseats.com they offer free shipping and if you get it and don't like it you can return it. They sell a couple of different models so make sure to get the one with cup holders a must for the older baby. I think it was 299.00 not to bad of deal. The best thing about this stroller is that it folds down then in falf again so it does not take up much car space. Great for people who might have smaller cars. Good luck I know how fustrating it can be to find the perfect stroller.

I can't offer much advice, as my second child will be born in just a few months, but my first will also be 22 months old when he's born. I just got the BabyTrend Sit N Stand Plus, and I can't keep my daughter off of it (she's 19 months now)! I have to push her around the house in it. :) She has sat in the back seat as well as the sit-n-stand option, and loves them both so much. She's learning that the front seat is for the baby, so she puts her dolls in there right now. Anyway, I'm pretty excited about using it for my 2 kiddos. Its very easy to maneuver and seems like a very smooth ride from what little I've used it with just my daughter so far.

We have the Combi double stroller and we LOVE it! It is really lightweight and it tri-folds so it is very compact. The seats fold completely down so it will accomodate newborns, unlike my Maclaren stroller. We have been using it since my son was a few days old. It is great for having a toddler and a newborn. Good luck!

I have the sit and stand delux. I like it. My son is 18 months and my daughter is 4 months. My car seat fits just fine and it wasn't on the list. The car seat does go in the front. It is big but lighter than a lot of the other double strollers. In another 6 months your son will be ready for the sit and stand part anyways! You are more than welcome to come by and take a look at mine. I ran into the same problem of not being able to see on in the store. I got mine at Target online.

We got the Joovy Sit and Stand from Babies R Us, for our 3 year old and 1 year old. We really like it, we took it to Disneyland and it worked out great. It is somewhat hard to steer compared to our Maclaren, but it makes up for it in convience. One Step Beyond also makes a more delux sit and stand.

We have the Inglesina Swift double and love it. Our top choice for a side-by-side double was the Maclaren Twin Traveller, but it's out of out price range at $350. We found the Inglesina for $179 at www.albeebaby.com (free shipping on anything over $100). It's narrow enough to fit through standard doorways, the baskets hold what I need them to, the seats are full recline and recline independently.
Folding was stiff at first, but we've had ot for 2 years and it's well broken in. Only thing we didn't care for were the canopies. We leave them off and only attach them if we know we'll be outside a lot. Our kids are 22 months apart and we really use this stroller a lot. Even though my 4 yr old usually walks when we go somewhere, I'll have them both ride along if I need to get in and out of somewhere in a hurry (because toddlers and preschoolers walk soooooo incredibly slow and they tend to take off in opposite directions when not contained....)

We got the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Plus and absolutely LOVE it. It is a convertable stroller, in that it initially has two double seats, and then when your older child is ready, you can take out the back seat. It then has a place where they can stand, or they can sit on the little bench in the back. Our two-year old loves riding in this thing. He thinks it is so much fun to stand and look at his little brother. He thinks it's a fun ride. Then, when he gets tired standing, he doesn't mind sitting on the bench seat at all. With our first child, we had an Eddie Bauer Travel system. We were able to use the car seat from that stroller on the Baby Trend Sit and Stand for our baby. The way it is made, it looks like almost any car seat would fit on there.
This stroller is not as bulky as a lot of the double strollers, which is a definite plus. It doesn't quite have the same "off-road" tires that our Eddie Bauer stroller has, so you have to push a little harder if you're going over grass, but it really isn't that big of a deal.
We got our Baby Trend Sit and Stand online at Stroller Depot. Below is a link for the stroller that we have. Can't say enough good things about Stroller Depot, or this Stroller. Highly recommend it.
