My daughter just turned 2 and we are expecting baby #2 in June, so now we are on the hunt for a double stroller. I have been asking around and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback on the Baby Jogger Citi Mini and I know from trying it out it's a great double. However, I was thinking that a front-to-back stroller might be more practical for easier navigation through store aisles. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Graco = bad.
Sit 'n Stand = great.
We had the graco first...storage is too small, harder to open/shut.
Sit 'n stand is lighter, storage is easier to access, and my older child loves to sit like a big kid on the bench (or stand up).
I can't comment on any other, but the City Mini double navigates through any course we travel: supermarket aisles, public bathrooms, you name it. We love it.

and we love it. It works great for parents who have kids that are of different ages.
I have the Citi Mini double and believe it or not, it's way easier to navigate thru aisles and doorways than the front to back, especially when turning. It doesn't look like it but it does really well!
We used a Sit n Stand Deluxe? Elite? It looks like a traditional front back stroller with two seats and then the back seat comes off and it's a regular Sit n Stand. It was great for my 2 year old who wasn't quite ready to walk by herself when her brother was born six-eight months later we took the back seat cover off and she was in heaven and I was too-- no second stroller to buy! It does feel a little like pushing a stretch limo especially with the infant carrier in the front but I fixed that only lasted a few months till my son could sit in the front. I got mine from One Step Ahead, but I've seen them at Target since then. Best baby purchase I ever made!!

We have the stroller that Tedsmommy L. gave the link for. While we have liked it enough for our twins, I don't know if I would recommend it for non-twin siblings. Double strollers feel huge. While front/back is easier to navigate IMHO, I sometimes found double doorways that were the same distance apart as the length of the double stroller - ugh. These days I weigh the convenience of having them in the stroller vs the inconvenience of the big old stroller. I think if I were you I would get a sit and stand type because they seem smaller and lighter. Also, the option of standing in it might be more appealing to your older child.
I don't personally care for side by side doubles, unless it's a jogger. I mostly use a double for shopping, and they seem hard to fit down aisles and in doorways. Just my opinion:) However, we had the Joovy Ergo Caboose and that was amazing. I highly recommend any of the Joovy strollers. You can aslo find them for a lot less on Craigslist.
