I am looking for a nice double jogging stroller that also can be used as a bike trailer. I have seen several online, but wondering if anyone has tried them out.
We ended up finding out about a double jogging stroller through a friend. It's Phil & Ted's sport buggy with doubles kit. AWESOME!!! It's a tad bit pricey, but well worth it! 4 different ways to use. Single stroller for newborn-about 5 years of age, with doubles kit: newborn/toddler arrangement and toddler and toddler. Check it out! VERY nice! We will just buy a seperate simple bike trailer that we can just leave attached and not have to worry about attaching/detaching.

I just got a double jogging stroller/bike trailer for Christmas! It is a Schwinn. We really like it. It is super light weight, yet feels very sturdy and well put together. We haven't used it as a bike trailer, yet, because my daughter is not one. My husband ordered it on Walmart.com and had it shipped to the store. It also folds up! Good luck on your search.
you can do what i do... look on craigslist and then bring the same one up on babies r us site, read the reviews and then and make sure your getting a good deal...

I have a Burley D'Lite bike trailer that can convert to a jogging stroller. I love it! It's easy to hook onto my bike and the kids love riding in it. I haven't tried it as a jogging stroller yet, but it does come with a push bar and a front wheel for that purpose. I got mine used as they can be pretty pricey new, so you may want to check out Craig's List in your area if you want to go that route.
I own 2 of them. I haven't actually ever used them as a stroller, although it is super easy to do so. We love to go on bike rides and our son loves to tag along. I would recommend one to a friend. If you have specific questions about them, please let me know. I will be happy to answer them.
I am VERY active and walk everyday in addition to bike rides. I was given a bike trailer/stroller combo for Christmas, and have already gotten a separate double jogging stroller since then. If you are going to use them often, I do NOT recommend getting the combo. It's not hard to switch them, but it is not a quick switch. I also struggled, because since it was a gift, I did not do the research, and I am not crazy about the bike trailer. It will work well as a trailer, but I don't like it as a stroller. If you are going to switch occasionally, a combo will be fine, but you are going to have to pay a lot more for a decent brand, so you may be better off getting a less expensive trailer and a separate stroller, like we did. (I ended up getting the BOB SUS stroller and I LOVE it! As for the trailer, I like the Burley, but haven't tried it. I don't like mine, it is a no name brand.))
