Double Jogging Stroller - Naples,FL

I'm in the market for a double jogger. I don't really want to spend the money on a bob. I have an almost 3 year old (25lbs) and 8 week old. I'm doing baby bootcamp classes and run outside. Need to snap infant carrier in until baby gets older.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks. I really want the bob but I don't always have both of them. My older daughter goes to school tues/thurs so I get to workout with just the baby. So that's why I'm wrestling with buying the double bob. I have the single jeep jogger...hate it but I guess I can use it as a single jogger. I have a nice treadmill which is easier to get on than timing an outdoor run with 2 "happy" kids. It's my first week back in over a year and it hasn't been easy but I'm determined.

You get what you pay for. The Bob is amazing. Try looking on your local Craigslist for a used one. If you have a big weight difference (baby versus 25 pounder) then getting a really good stroller is even more important so it doesn't pull to one side while you're running. Plus, some of the cheaper ones have less cushy rides which can be a bit tough for a baby.

I bought our Bob in 2008 for $480 at REI (used the 20% off members discount) and sold it in 2011 for $350. So it really only cost me $130. Bobs have awesome resale value...

Once you try the BOB Revolution you will be begging to spend the $$ on it. I'd venture to say it was the best 2nd-baby purchase we made. If you have the opportunity to borrow one from a local mom friend in a play group or something, do it! They sell SUPER fast so if you are looking for a used one, don't hesitate when one becomes available.

I have to agree with the other Mommas, go with the Bob! I was hesitant to spend the money also but I havent regretted it at all! It will be worth every penny, I use mine everyday and my daughter loves it! Also good luck with your running, you will find you can run twice as far when you run by yourself after running with both of your kiddos in a jogger!

Get a double BOB off of Craigslist or something -gently used. Mine was worth every penny I paid for it -brand new! They are fantastic and have a snap in baby carrier kit you can add.

Don't skimp on the running stroller, the result will be that you'll end up with a running stroller that sits in the garage because you won't enjoy using it. Just see if you can cut corners somewhere else in your budget and buy the Bob stroller! You won't be sorry.

Hi :), yes I agree the Bob stroller is truly the best. I tried the Eddie Bauer running stroller, it was horrible!! The BOB stroller is so smooth and easy to maneuver.. I would also look on Craig's list, it is worth every penny
